The staff are always so nice, but I recently had the worst experience with the ortho team. My last appointment, I came in and told the lead orthodontist which tooth I wanted moved up. (there’s a singular tooth on my bottom row thats lower than the rest, not anything serious.) The assistant marks the wrong tooth and the lead orthodontist corrects her. She had apparently ‘corrected’ her mistake after that. The assistant then proceeds with the rest of the treatment, but had trouble getting the ligature tie on my brackets, applied so much unnecessary pressure and even asked another assistant to come help her. After everything was done, that same assistant sees me off and the lead orthodontist hadn’t came back to check or anything. A couple days later I noticed the tooth I wanted raised hadn’t moved, but the one next to it had gotten noticeably higher. I take a closer look and see that the wire had actually been on the wrong bracket this whole time! I call them the next morning and they tell me they can’t do anything about it until next week. I’m just very disappointed.

My son is special needs and his tech was so good with him, I believe his name was Tim. That was something very important to me! Also loved my daughter's experience with Ale ❤️

If I could have negative reviews, I would. My mom drove 45 min to an hour to come here and have some fillings done. She made the appointment, got a xray and was told how much the procedure would be with an estimate if any complications arose. She stated she needed to leave by a certain time and they agreed. When the time approached, she told them she had to leave and they rescheduled her for the next day but charged her ahead. On the same day we called to cancel the appointment since it wasn't worth the drive. At this point, no procedure had taken place. During the cancelation call we were told we'd recieve a full refund. Cue 2 weeks later when no refund was received, we're told to give them our card info for the refund. Cue 2 weeks after that when they refuse to provide a full refund, stating that insurance didn't cover the xray and they'd only refund 80 of the 254 dollars they charged.... This has to be the most backwards office I've ever encountered. I wouldn't trust them to process claims much less with my teeth. Goodluck if you take that chance.

Amazing experience at Smiley Dental. I feel so much better today despite my tooth extractions after being in pain all weekend. All the staff I interacted with as well as Dr. Moon were great!

As usual, which has been every single time I’ve been there in the last 2 1/2 years. My appointment time was screwed up by the appointment desk. Luckily, I called the day before to confirm the time and was given the correct time by the person over the phone. The only reason I give this Office Highmarks is the hygienist. She is amazing. I love her. She has great attention to detail. She’s always top-notch Customer Service and so kind. That is the only reason I go back.

This was my first visit and overall I had a good experience. The doctor was very kind and thorough. She explained my X-rays clearly and went over my treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand. I felt comfortable and well informed about my dental needs. My only concern was the wait time. My 9am appointment lasted about two hours, and a lot of that time was waiting between steps. I understand new patient visits can take longer, but it was more time than I expected. Other than that, the staff was polite and the office was clean. I’m giving them another chance because I really liked the doctor.
