I had my teeth cleaned on 9/30/26. I couldn’t keep my original appointment so I called and they got me in that same day as they had a cancellation. I saw a different hygienist than my usual. I’m not a fan of anything dentist office related and my usual hygienist is awesome. So for me to go to someone new is very stressful. The hygienist is saw Brynn I think her name was, was the most gentle hands I have ever had in my mouth in my life. She is awesome. She let me hold the vacuum, gave me strawberries and cream flavored polishing paste. She was very pleasant and personable. She was absolutely amazing. She will be my new go to for cleaning. I didn’t get to see Michelle because she was short staffed and there were no concerns. Which is a bummer because I always like seeing her. She runs a top notch all female practice!!! I recommend Bangor Dental 100%

I worked with the hygienist, Gwen, and she was wonderful! She was very gentle with the cleaning and answered any and all of my questions in detail. If you are looking for a new office, I highly recommend Bangor Dental. They have an amazing team and I have been a patient since childhood.

From reception, to hygienist to dentist- all were friendly, competent and thorough. They let me know all my options and were happy to get me estimates for work done. They worked with me to make a plan moving forward and were never judgemental about anything. Extra points because my hygienist (Brynn) was hilarious and so accommodating. After notifying her of an injury, she made sure I was comfortable the entire time, showing such care and diligence, and continuing to check in with me, and never making me feel *needy* or annoying. My dentist heard about an injury I am dealing with and showed such compassion- checking in with me about it, showing concern, and taking the time to tell me the name of the surgeon in which she used and had good experiences with. These are all in addition to the cleaning and yearly check up being done well.

Just moved here to Maine 3 years ago. My first appointment with them was today. I didn't know what to expect but I was so relieved by the friendliness of the staff there. It truly made a difference to me. My Dental Hygienist especially was so welcoming and friendly. Loved her! She made the appointment fun which helped my nerves alot! We discussed today's plan in depth and some specifics she needed to run by the doctor. I was impressed by the careful consideration by her and the doctor on an issue with regard to the plan of care. If you want a dental team who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for, this IS the place! The practice is well-run, professional, and has such great people working there. I've been going to dentists my whole life - 50 years. This place by far was the absolute best!

They went the extra mile and gave great advice. They seem to know their stuff and they did everything to accommodate me in my first appointment. I didn't use a GPS so I ended up at Bangor Audiology first because that's how my mind works. Ie land marks. It wasn't them though because it was me. I came from Southern Maine. Just make sure you fill out the forms ahead of time. I tried but couldn't send everything because I didn't know my insurance number. I couldn't bypass the form and send what I had. So I had to fill out the forms again by hand. Its again not their fault because it's the software company's. Anyway after filling out the test, I got greeted by the receptionist who was very helpful and nice. The place is very clean. And I feel better afterwards. This is a great place.

Dr Spekhardt is an exceptional dentist. She explains everything that needs to be done and is extremely thorough. She also tells you what what’s worth doing and what’s not worth doing. Originally we were gonna do two implants and two crowns on my lower teeth, but she said to me, I’d be wasting my money I would recommend putting in dentures instead. Thank you Dr. Spekhardt.

Dr. Michele Spekhardt has been my dentist for over a decade. She is a professional, experienced, and highly competent dentist. My visits to Bangor Dental Associates have always been pleasant and positive. Dr. Spekhardt is confident in her diagnoses and treatment recommendations. She is meticulous in her work and draws on her extensive experience to resolve dental issues effectively. Whenever I have needed a filling, crown, or implant, she has carefully confirmed the treatment plan with X-rays and explained the findings. I highly recommend Bangor Dental Associates to anyone seeking excellent dental care.

10/10 experience! I haven’t been to the dentist in 10 years due to a bad experience at my last dentist. I bit the bullet and scheduled with these guys and I don’t regret it! No one likes to go to the dentist, but everyone here is so kind and they don’t make you feel bad for not having perfect pearly whites. I highly recommend!!!

I love this Office! All of the girls are great… The office, dental hygienists, dentist… All of them! They were very upfront about everything with no hidden fees, etc., and explained everything in detail that I needed to know. Everyone was very attentive and did not rush me at all. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend them!

I came from Aspen who would charge me up the wazoo for things I didn’t need. They’d cancel my appts and want to rebook 10 months out. I finally transferred to Bangor dental associates where my spouse goes and I had a wonderful experience. Once I got all my paperwork to them, they said they would add me to their cancellation list and same day, they called to ask if I could take that spot only 2 weeks out.Brynn is a very talented hygienist

I was very happy with the professional people that work there. All of them got me in. Made me feel like family what was really cool you could change the music and they didn't complain. Put on some rock and roll made time. Go by quicker. Not that you were there long. Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff
