I absolutely love everything about this dentist office. From the moment I called, they was able to get me in that morning and walking through the door. You felt welcome. All of the staff in the back were nice to my daughter made her feel at ease friendly. She had to get a tooth pulled the dentist that we had an appointment with couldn’t pull it and she looked to see if it was another dentist available so it can get done that day. . We are now patient of Brentwood accent dental. If you are looking for a dentist for your child, this is the place you will not be disappointed
Disappointed in this establishment. The positives of this facility is the staff is very friendly. But the communication in my experiences has been very bad. I started my journey out in Wenztville Accent, and was referred to the one in St. Louis because of our insurance. I agreed, because the staff there were very friendly and helpful and were trying their best to make sure my son got the dental care he needed. It took a month to hear anything back, which I figured was due to insurance reasons. I reached out to this facility to figure out what was going on and was told that they would get back to me. Approximately a day later, I had a call stating that they wanted to try to schedule my son for his dental appointment which was with sedation for that following Monday but they couldn’t guarantee that he would get the appointment but to prepare him as if he would, which would include not eating or drinking past 12am. And they would call me first thing Monday morning to confirm or deny the appointment at 1p that day I stated okay. Monday around 10am I ended up calling because I still hadn’t heard anything and I have a 2hr ride to this facility. They said they were still trying to reach the people that had those appointments because they needed paperwork to proceed with their appointment and they haven’t heard back and told me to wait and they would let me know soon, I reminded staff again that I was 2hrs from the facility and was told okay we’ll try to get ahold of you as soon as possible. I believe approximately at 11:30a I was told that he wouldn’t be able to have the appointment because they received the paperwork they needed for the other children’s appointments. Which I became upset because my son is still pretty young and had been wondering why all day he couldn’t eat or drink. And asked repeatedly and I told him no because I was told there was a good chance he would get the appointment at that point. I told them I didn’t wanted to receive services from them that I would go with the further option in Chicago and the lady I spoke to try very hard to try to get me to still schedule an appointment, and then settled for a waitlist and told them I still wasn’t sure I would accept. Fast forward to a week ago I was offered to come in today (4/16/26) at 10:30 for an exam. The others I denied due to my working schedule and one got canceled because my son had the flu. We came in to the facility, the front staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful. We arrived at 10:15a our appointment time was 10:30. Around 11am I approached the front desk to confirm what time my son’s appointment was again because we had still not seen anyone or been back to be assessed or start the procedure. The lady stated that she was very sorry it was taking awhile, and stated that there was only Doctor there that took our insurance and sometimes I can be a wait. Which I was informed only one doctor there took our insurance but I was never informed how long of a wait it could be or that the process could be hours later. Around 11:00 the receptionist called me back up to the desk to tell me that another child they were working on was taking longer than they originally planned and it was going to be quite some time but they would get us back as soon as possible but was unsure when that was going to be. I stated okay, and sat back down. At this point it was 12:30p (two hours after our appointment time) and still have not been seen. My son again is wondering why he can’t eat, when he’s going to get to, why he hasn’t been seen yet, and why it was taking so long. Around this time I walked back up to the front desk and stated I wanted to cancel his appointment, because this is now the SECOND time my son has waited and told he needs to wait because we’re under the impression that he’s going to have his appointment or in this case his appointment in a timely manner. Which I find very unprofessional, how can you willingly let young children wait that long to eat or drink because your not communicating with parents that this can be a very long process.
We had an excellent experience at Accent Dental’s St. Louis location. Chasity and Dr. Smith took such great care of my daughter. They were patient, kind, and very intentional in the way they explained things and made her feel comfortable. I highly recommend this office—5 stars!
I have been bringing my kids to accent for years and we have always been happy with our care.. Harper was great with my daughter. Ashley was amazing with my son. Dr Yoon was informative and took great care of my kids. Everyone was friendly. Thanks accent for keeping them smiling!
This was my son’s very first dental appointment at Accent Dental and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in, Renato was our first point of contact and he was absolutely amazing. He was warm, patient, and talked to my son in a way that made him feel comfortable and confident. He even took the time to explain the importance of brushing in a fun and encouraging way—my son was actually excited to show off what he learned! Dr. Smith was just as great. Gentle, thorough, and very reassuring. He made sure my son understood what he was doing and kept everything positive so he didn’t feel nervous at all. Overall, they turned what could have been a scary first-time visit into something my son genuinely enjoyed. Highly recommend Accent Dental, especially Renato and Dr. Smith!
