I really don't recommend this dental place. I've been here for dental cleaning for over past 3 years and the last time I visited they pushed me to perform deep clean and didn't schedule normal cleaning any longer. In addition. they've pushed me to perform fillings for four teethes which also refused by me. Now, I switched to another dental places in brookline and the new dentist mentioned my teeth is good health don't need the extra care.

I had a great experience with Stephen for my dental cleaning. It was my first time seeing him, and he was incredibly thorough and attentive! As always, Dr. Ahed Khalil and the team are fantastic.

I came in to Cambridgeside dental with a tooth that had partially fallen off and I felt so comfortable from the time I walked in. Dr ahed Khalil was very professional and reassuring. Let me begin by saying that I am someone who does not really like change. I was originally a patient of Dr. Goldstone, who was wonderful and had many admirable qualities, especially compassion. After he left, I continued going to Cambridgeside Dental Associates and became a patient of Dr. Khalil. I remained Dr. Khalil’s patient for decades and, during that time, had several root canals. I always trusted the practice until I began receiving treatment estimates ranging from $8,000 to $10,000. I complained about a back tooth that had already had a root canal, and Dr. Khalil informed me that I needed another one. For years, I had been saving money to improve the appearance of my front teeth, and once again I was told that I would most likely need root canals on my front teeth as well. At that point, I decided to seek a second opinion from another dentist. I was told there was nothing wrong with my back tooth. I have since had my front teeth done, and they look great — without needing any root canals. The cost was about one-third (or less) of the original estimate. Additionally, it was discovered that I had an infection that required surgery and had never been identified. I ultimately had to see an oral surgeon for proper treatment. I would also like to mention that there seems to be frequent turnover among the hygienists and, recently, the front desk staff. Over the years, I met many different hygienists, and the office staff has changed repeatedly, which I find concerning. I do not typically leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience so that others will consider seeking a second opinion when presented with treatment plans costing many thousands of dollars.

I have been a patient of Dr Khalil's at Cambridgeside Dental for the past 14 years. Over the years, I have undergone nearly every dental procedure imaginable, including very involved implant surgeries and restorations. The entire team has consistently been knowledgeable, helpful, and kind throughout every visit. One aspect I particularly value is that the office provides a wide array of services. It is incredibly convenient to have everything handled in-house without the need for referrals to outside doctors. Dr Wu is the most caring and patient friendly oral surgeon I have ever met! I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking comprehensive and compassionate dental care.

Frustrating experience with billing transparency My experience with this dental office has been frustrating and disappointing. The pre-estimate they provided was about $400 less than the final bill I was charged, and when I asked for an explanation, they insisted their amount was correct without providing a clear reason. When I later connect with my insurance, they said the office is out-of-network, yet the office continues to insist they are in-network. I’ve repeatedly asked for written proof or documentation of their in-network status — my requests have been ignored. Phone calls are difficult too — the office is often “busy,” promises to send invoices they never send, and requires repeated follow-ups, including phone calls to process an overcharge that is due to me. Overall, I found the billing practices and communication unprofessional. I’d strongly recommend double-checking your insurance coverage and costs before scheduling here. I’m sharing this so others can be aware of potential frustrations with billing transparency.
