Dr. Phil Kraver is amazing! After falling on concrete and knocking a front tooth loose, Dr. Phil had me come into the office even though they were closed. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, all the while being gentle, kind, and attentive to how I was feeling. After two additional visits to monitor the progress of my tooth and watching for the possible need for a root canal, I was finally able to have my temporary braces removed today. My family and I have been going to Cape Dental Care for years and have nothing but praise for the hygienists, front office staff, and other personnel. As a matter of fact, my youngest granddaughter always wears her Best Day Ever shirt every time she goes to the dentist. How often can you say that about a trip to the dentist?
I was blessed with naturally strong teeth. Never had a cavity until 58 years of age. Perhaps because of that, I took my teeth for granted and didn’t floss properly. To make matters worse, I wound up under the “care” of a bad dentist in my native Ohio. This dentist did his own cleanings and they were like torture, which made me dread going to the dentist. Then there was COVID and a year without an exam. Full disclosure, my sister Sarah is a hygienist at Cape Dental with over two decades of experience. I had been experiencing pain in my gums and when flossing. I told my sister about my situation and, since I was visiting Florida, she looked my teeth over and was concerned. Sarah performed a deep cleaning, addressing some substantial gingivitis with four quadrants of scaling and root planing. Since I was there, I also booked an appointment with Dr. Kyle Radomski to address the two cavities. They were taken care of with a minimum of discomfort and Dr. Kyle is very easy to talk to. The staff at Cape Dental is wonderful, from the receptionists to the assistants, especially Gladys. The facility itself is designed to make the patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible – it doesn’t feel like a dentist’s office. From the views of the outdoor garden to the relaxing programming on the TV monitors, Cape Dental seems more like a spa which happens to perform dental work. It was well worth flying down from Ohio to visit Cape Dental. My spouse and I plan to use them for our dental work going forward – especially in the winter.
This office is great! The entire staff that I came in contact with is exceptional. I had several appointments and each time was greeted warmly and treated like I mattered to them. I only saw Dr. Kyle so I can’t speak for the other doctors but feel if (and I’m certain) they are half as respectful and thorough as him, you’ll be in good hands. Replacement of prosthetics is a process and I trusted Cape Dental after a not so pleasant experience elsewhere. So-o-o glad I did! 😁
My experience with Cape Dental has been well above average. I very much enjoy Dawn my hygienist. She has a wonderful positive attitude. Great work and great home care advice. I want to thank Dr. Linda for recognizing an issue with a tooth during a routine cleaning that led me to a specialist who recommended an immediate extraction. Her ultra professional and diligent approach to this issue saved me from serious future injury. I’m so grateful for professionals like her. Dr Phil who in my opinion represents the highest level of integrity, professionalism and competence kindly made time for me the next morning in order to perform the procedure. Speaking with Dr. Phil is always a pleasure. He loves aviation and I enjoy sharing experiences with him. I want to thank Dr. Phil’s staff for making me feel at ease during that complicated and stressful moment. Overall Cape Dental gets an A++. Going to a Dentist is not always the most fun for the majority of patients however, I can honesty say, the Staff at Cape Dental make a stressful experience a pleasure. Sincerely James Roberge
Very enjoyable (not always the case) dental experience. Dr Phil and Dr Lorna kept me informed all along the crown replacement. The view of the canal with fish jumping on this trip, and the live bird aviary on my previous visit filled the time when the doctors weren't in the room. Max, the assistant, was also great. CDC is now my go-to place for all things dental.
