Carmel Dental has always been our go to for dental care. Dr. Hovda is an exceptional dentist and the staff is equally as great! Definitely recommend!

I have had only great experiences at Carmel Dental Group (and I am someone who previously really dreaded going to the dentist)! The staff is wonderful and they do a fantastic job! Erin did my cleaning and she was great at making sure I was comfortable the whole time. Dr. Hovda is so friendly and sweet and always gentle in whatever she is doing. If you dread going to the dentist, I bet they can change your mind!

Dental cleaning & Xrays. Bite wings were small and not painful. Erin is a kind, gentle and proficient DH. Dr. Hovda is very nice, knowledgeable and easily able to make nervous patients relax. She has a gentle patter while working that also helps to put you at ease. Moved to a new city, foung Carmel Dental Group and am very satisfied.

Please read before you try this dentist for the first time. I came in as a new patient with soreness around a root canal I had gotten 3 months ago. I saw Dr. Harmon (she is a wonderful person & very kind btw) and had a plethora of x rays done. She had told me that I needed a tooth extracted, a root canal on another, and 9 fillings. I got two other opinions and neither agreed. Just yesterday I went & got a root canal on the tooth I was told that needed extracted. My endodontist couldn’t understand why Dr. Harmon would say extraction was needed as he was able to save it easily. The two other dentists I had review my x rays said that the tooth that she had said needs a root canal, just needs the filling replaced as there is decay underneath it. Additionally, I do have a few other fillings that need replaced but not 9! Just be careful. Everyone was very kind but I am SO glad that I got 2 other opinions (3 including endodontist) that all agreed with each other and none agreed with Dr. Harmon. I was so upset about losing a tooth but I didn’t have to!

Love this office. The staff is so friendly and remembers all the little details about our family. We took our 2 year old for her first dentist appointment, and they made her experience so much fun - balloons, prizes, sunglasses, and paw patrol.
