I cannot recommend Pearce Dental Group based on my experience with their billing department and customer service. While the clinical care may be fine, the administrative side of the practice has been incredibly frustrating, and it seems there are several others who agree. Communication has been extremely poor, with no follow up. A dental office should provide excellent service from start to finish, and that includes transparent billing, timely communication, and accountability when problems arise. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
I’ve used Pearce a few different times. Typically they fine. However, I went to get a filling replaced that had come loose. They convinced me to use a porcelain filling vs the regular filling and explained it would last longer. So we discussed pricing they did a “ pre authorization” And told me it would 390 dollars, and that’s it. I told them I was fine paying the 390. I paid the day of the service and left thinking I was all squared away. Several months later I get a bill for 299 dollars. I’ve called several times to ask about this and no call backs, they never answer their phone….There was no mention of possible extra cost, no mention of more to pay, that’s the entire point of the pre authorization to determine my out of pocket.. We agreed on a price they did the work and charged me almost double what was initially agreed upon. Why do a pre-authorization to determine the cost…? If they had told me this was an estimate and possibly it could cost more fine… that’s on me, but that’s not the case, they told me it would be exactly the 390. Don’t believe the upfront price unless you check yourself with insurance. They will, bait and switch you and expect you to pay beyond the agreed price. I would not have agreed to the veneer had I know it would cost this much. Have the decency to call your clients back too, what kind of business do you run there anyway. Someone calls on three separate occasions and you can’t manage to call back, but you have no problem increasing the price of your service beyond what was agreed??? You made a mistake in calculating the price apparently, that’s on you! Not me. Why should I pay for your errors? You should pay for your mistakes not the client. I’m really curious to know how your reviews stand at 4.9 treating your customers the way you do. That’s very suspicious to me. I’ll return the veneer, you can have it back. I’m not paying a penny over what you quoted me. How about call back so we can get this worked out is that too much to ask. Be prudent when you quote a price to a customer and have the integrity to stand by it. When something ends up costing double vs what was agreed upon that’s a little frustrating don’t you think? How would you like to receive half of what you agreed on for a service. Would that bother you?
Chipped a tooth very shortly before a change in coverage, and needed to get in somewhere. Front desk staff was amazing and spoke with the dentists to get me in quickly. Dentist was very transparent about the process, and had the bonding done and the chip fixed within two hours of my initial call. Park in the Westin hotel garage and take the elevator to the second door for easy access.
I am from Chicago and was in town for Christmas, of course, my tooth chipped. I called Pearce and was able to get me in!! I scheduled my appointment and had my tooth fixed in 2-hours! The team was incredibly nice and my tooth look like new. Just go here...simple.
Walking in and was greeted with a warm smile, I was nervous at first but right away the friendliness and comfort helped me out. I need major work and was guided on step by step on how to get there. Got to meet 6 of the staff members and all felt like friends at the end of the visit.
Simply said: I love my Pearce Dental Group. Why? Perferc attention to detail, professional and personal, warm, on time, their team answers all my questions (and I tend to ask a lot). They show me diverse x-rays of mine to explain what, how, and so on. It's great to know what to expect. I have been a patient for several years and I'm very pleased. PS Go Bengals!!!! Thank you.
