I was greeted with respect and understanding for my concerns of TMJ and sore areas in my mouth. The hygienist was amazing and considerate of my TMJ, and I brush like I'm cleaning my home. I have OCD. The dentist was also wonderful. The front desk is ALWAYS comforting and warm. I was happy to have chosen 1st Advantage Dental. They actually took my concerns to heart. A HUGE THANK YOU.

Disappointed in my cleaning. Had a different hygienist, as my regular retired. I realize the best way to learn is by experience, so ill give 1 more try. I had to floss my teeth when i left as the floss was only run through rather than up and down between the teeth. During the “cleaning” my teeth were barely touched. Two days later i feel like my teeth need cleaning.

I'm responding for my 2 kids, every time they have an appointment they are told something different. Some doctors tell them they have cavities other doctors say they don't have cavities. My daughter made an appointment to get her cavities filled and the doctor that was gonna do it told her she didn't have cavities. It's an ongoing process and it's very frustrating I'm considering switching Dentist. My son had an appointment On Tuesday they told him he has a cavity last time he was there the dentist told him his teeth were perfect. It's very frustrating.

I also left a Yelp review as I know that people have the prefer app to review. As an autistic patient with significant dental anxiety, I am writing this to warn others. I have stayed with this practice for 2 1/2 years because the previous providers were careful and neuro-affirming. Today was a complete failure of care. Clinical Safety & Professionalism: The new hygienist was incredibly rough, 'digging for gold' and causing me to bleed—something that has never happened here before. To make matters worse, they didn't even confirm my penicillin/amoxicillin allergies until AFTER the procedure was over and I was already bleeding. Judgmental Conduct: I felt deeply judged and stigmatized for taking Doxy-PreP. The hygienist knew nothing about it, had to look it up, and then treated me with an inappropriate, 'positive' bias. As a patient, I should not have to educate my provider on preventative care, nor should I be made to feel uncomfortable for my medical choices. The Office: There is a sign at checkout apologizing for a doctor and hygienist leaving, which explains the drop in quality. While the reception and checkout ladies are perfect and deserve 5 stars for their professionalism, the clinical side is currently unsafe and unprofessional. If you value your privacy, safety, and energy protection, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.

I loved it. I felt cared and taken care of. All my fears about the dentist went away and were very gentle and caring. Plus they told me I have a killer's smile 😁 made to perfection. I can't wait to go back!

David is top notch, been seeing him for years. Although I don’t see Dr Monin each time I go (that’s a good thing) he is always available to answer questions and is thorough when he does see me. The staff is friendly and efficient.
