Dr Hussein and the sedation team did an amazing job with my son’s dental procedure. They were informative, quick, efficient and did their best to make my son, my husband and I comfortable during a potentially difficult situation. My son was smiling even after the work was done. The aftermath of coming off of the anesthesia was to be expected, as the team did specify beforehand. We are genuinely grateful for the team’s professionalism and ability to make my son feel safe during the entire process. They were really good at making it as fun as possible for my almost 5 year old! Thank you Dr.Hussein and team!

We’ve been going to Smile Lodge for a couple of years now, and we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Hussein care for both of our children. He performed a procedure on our son, and recently helped our 8-year-old daughter as well. We were initially referred to another doctor for her, but unfortunately things didn’t work out. After that experience, I specifically requested Dr. Hussein because I knew he would take great care of her. He truly worked his magic. He was able to pull four of her teeth in just 10–15 minutes, all while keeping her calm and comfortable. She walked out feeling proud of herself and excited that she had gotten everything done. Dr. Hussein has an incredible way with children. His patience, kindness, and confidence made what could have been a scary experience into a positive one for our daughter. We’re so grateful for the outstanding care he provides and highly recommend both Dr. Hussein and the entire Smile Lodge team.

We have been going to this office for 13 years. All 4 of my children have had wonderful experiences here. The staff are amazing and friendly. They explain processes and procedures to the children and the parent. They are transparent about costs upfront. We all really appreciate how all staff at the Smile Lodge treat children and parents with respect.

Our son had a successful first dental visit! He was even given a sticker, care package and rubber ducky on the way out. The team was super efficient, front of house to back of house. The dental tech who escorted us in, set us up, wrote down inquiry for the Doctor and then even gave us a fidget toy to play with! It was super thoughtful gesture. Granted it was a QUICK peek, review, and “cleaning” hehehehe But the staff was like happy to help but also very happy to not push, scare or traumatize kiddo. He’s roughly 1 year, enough teeth to be seen so their primary concern was establishing relationship. Very happy & we will be back in 6 months for our next wellness exam. I didn’t catch our Doctor’s name but the staff absolutely announced it, he introduced himself very kindly & professionally. He was sure to address any questions or concerns and provided concrete guidance.

I have consistently found it challenging to get my 8-year-old daughter with level 3 nonverbal autism to tolerate dental appointments, including simple cleanings. Nevertheless, our appointment yesterday at Mt. Brushmore building under the care of Dr. Hussein and the sedation team was remarkably successful. They went above and beyond to ensure both my daughter's and my own comfort during the visit. The sedation team skillfully used her favorite cartoon as a distraction method during the procedure, contributing to her calm demeanor. Furthermore, their kindness and attentiveness persisted as they followed up with us post-procedure, providing extra popsicles to ease her gums. I highly recommend smile lodge for your child's dentist! 😊
