Columbia Family Dentistry

I made the switch to this provider (only) because my dental insurance changed. This is the ONE dentist in Columbia that accepts my insurance now. 😳 Honestly, that made me a bit nervous, and I genuinely wasn't prepared for the service I received. What I received was, compassion, concern, top-notch service, and kindness from everyone in the office. ALL OF THEM! Dr. Wilburn is amazing, and I am so thankful I ended up where I obviously should have been to start! Dentist visits test my nerves, but I trust the amazing staff and doctor so much! A million stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dr. Love and his team demonstrated exceptional professionalism in a time-sensitive situation. I contacted them in a state of distress due to a last-minute cancellation from another dentist office that was closed, which was unfortunate but not unexpected. They successfully accommodated me on the same day, thoroughly discussed my concerns, and meticulously outlined the necessary procedures. The staff exhibited remarkable courtesy, provided detailed explanations, and extended a warm welcome upon my arrival. I am exceedingly grateful to have found this practice instead.

I can't say I look very forward to go to the Dentist, but it is always a joy to see Dr. Wilburn at my appointments. She takes care of me and I appreciate it very much. And, now I have met Karen, the new hygienist, who is a sweetheart. (As a footnote, I really don't dread going to Columbia Family Dentistry either. Folks are very kind to me). 😃

My son and I have gone here for a few years but are looking to change dentists. I was happy at first but the last several times I have not been happy. The hygienists are rough. The last cleaning I got the hygienist numbed my gums because she said she would make me bleed, I've never bled during a cleaning in my life, but I bled a lot this time. The doctor doesn't spend hardly any time with the patients addressing their concerns. I've had sensitive teeth for years, they keep getting worse, and no one seems to think it's a big deal.

Wonderful staff and environment! I hadn’t been to the dentist in years and was quite nervous and embarrassed but the hygienist was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable, I didn’t feel judged, embarrassed, or nervous in any way. I also have dentist anxiety and I felt completely relaxed and comfortable! Doctor was also friendly and thorough. Would highly recommend 😊
