WARNING:. Worst dental experience of my life as a new patient with Dr. Ryan Brown on 9/2/25 and 9/24/25. I had an appointment for crown prep with Dr. Brown and had to return to the office shortly after on the same day due to excruciating pain and my jaw locked up. I could barely open my mouth or speak. He put his hands inside and outside my jaw to massage it to relax my jaw. He said that that numbing injection must’ve gone into the muscle, which was causing the pain. Dr. Brown gave me a prescription for 800 mg ibuprofen and also a steroid pack. My jaw was extremely sore and I couldn’t open my mouth fully for a week. Against my better judgement, I returned to have the permanent crown put in, because I needed the job finished. The assistant put the crown in and out of my mouth an excessive number of times to get a correct fit. I have never experienced anything like it before. My mouth was hurting badly from keeping it open so long. My very first visit was also an extremely negative experience, as well. I will begin by saying I am a warm natured person who likes A/C and I was wearing long pants and a long sleeved shirt. The A/C was blasting extremely cold air on me to the point my whole body was shaking because I was freezing. I told the assistant and the dentist several times, but nobody seemed concerned that I was miserable. I asked for a blanket and the assistant brought me a thin blanket. Then, I had to ask for another blanket. After the numbing wore off, my cheek was sore and I could feel with my tongue, my cheek was badly scraped up inside. When Dr. Brown was working on my tooth, he was putting a lot of force on my mouth with his body weight. I have never experienced this before with a dentist. It was extremely uncomfortable and concerning, despite the fact I was numbed. Overall, I had two very negative experiences as a brand new patient. I have been to the dentist many many times in my 60 years and I have never had such terrible experiences. I only switched to their office because my dentist stopped taking my insurance. My former dentist of over 20 years was extremely gentle, and I never had any kind of pain at all there. As you might guess from my experience, I will not be going back ever again. This was the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life.

I very much appreciated the opportunity to see Dr. Kramer today because of a cancellation. Otherwise, I may have had to wait a couple of weeks for the original appointment they scheduled for me. Dr. Kramer and her staff were very welcoming and she explained what they needed to do to address my broken molar and my treatment plan after having been away from my prior dentist for over two years. In addition, Jo Ann wass very helpful in explaining the upcoming charges for my crown work.

Dr Brennan and Kristine are the best. I had three cavities filled and I hate going to the dentist. They made sure I was comfortable at all times and made my experience as easy as possible. Super nice people!

This has been the best dental experience I've ever had. The nicest staff with the best service. If you have ever been scared to go to the dentist but you need dental care, please make an appointment here. They are kind and won't make you feel bad for missing a few dental appointments in the past.

I’ve been going to Cumming Dental since 1999… I love Dr Short and all his hygienist… Everyone is always upbeat and professional! My hygienist is incredible, she aims to please, and always goes above and beyond the call of duty to keep me happy! Great job Cumming Dental! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the Cumming Area… and I have to several people through the years.

I haven't had the best experiences at other dentists but this one does an incredible job and the staff are great and very nice. I had some fillings done by Dr Brannon and he was so nice and was sure to reassure me since i was anxious about certain things and answered any questions i had. His assistant was also great and they both created a safe and fun environment to be in even being at the dentist. This dentist is great!!

I had a wonderful experience today at Cumming Dental Associates, similar to all my previous. The staff is incredibly kind and the wait time was minimal. My hygienist today, Christina was very professional and gentle while doing my cleaning and x-rays. The dentist I saw was wonderful and gave me cost-effective options for treatment I need. She was understanding when I wanted to quote and there was no pressure around making the appointment with them which I appreciate. I’m glad to have found this gem of a dental office when so many have gone corporate. Along with an amazing staff, their office is convenient to 400, clean and their hours are amazing. I called last minute for a cleaning appointment and they were able to find time to fit me in with a cancellation. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a new dentist office.
