Family Dental Center

I'll be honest that I really enjoyed coming to this dental center. So it pains me to write a negative review because I found out that they are unethical. Each time I've paid my bill I wondered why it was so high given that I have excellent insurance medical insurance and dental insurance. And I've never paid that much for a cleaning. I finally asked them and it turns out I've been charged every time I've been there for the last two years for periodontal work that is not being done. The first time I went in 2024 they surveyed my gums and one spot was found with 5mm gum recession, and I agreed to let them scrape, though I think it did more harm than good. Since then, every time I've come in it's been for a routine cleaning and exam. No additional full mouth surveys were done. No additional scraping was done. No probes have been dropped in a long time. Yet every single time for 2 years they have been charging me as if they were doing this extra surveillance and extra cleaning when they have not. News flash to the office: you charge people for services rendered not for past diagnoses. Imagine a car mechanic charging you extra every time you bring your car in for an oil change because one time two years ago he changed a flat tire and he just happens to see your tires when you bring the car in next time for an oil change, not because he is examining them but because they are on the car, so he calls it a " tire maintenance charge" even though he is not actually doing any work related to that issue. It is NOT ethical people. We do not change people for past diagnoses; we charge them for Services that we render. No extra work, no extra money. That is the fair. I am laying out an extra $40 a year for work that is NOT being done. That is dishonest. $40 is valuable labor time for me, time I have to slave at a job. If 20 people a year take $40 from me illegitimately that's almost a whole week every year that I'm slaving away at a job just to pay people who are STEALING from me. It isn't right. And I'm not happy about it. I plan to contact Blue Cross Blue Shield and let them know about this fraudulent billing to my insurance company and to me. We should all take it seriously when people charge for work that they are NOT doing. For 2 years, probably five cleanings I have been charged an extra $20 a visit. $100. Hours of my labor, hours of my freedom stolen from me by unethical people. It is not right!!!!

Absolutely love Dr. Johnson, China, and all of the staff here. They are all so wonderful and kind!

New patient and very happy. Dr. Johnson put a crown on for me and it is excellent. I experienced less discomfort with him than I ever have and then he called me the night after the major part of the work to check on me which was surprising but great. Very happy.

Today i saw doctor Silvestri to fix my cracked front tooth. He did an awesome job. My front tooth looks better than before!

I had a great experience with Dr. Johnson and my hygienist, China! After a recent filling, I experienced some pain a few days later and was able to reach their emergency line over the weekend. The on-call dentist (shout out Dr Harris) quickly called in medication, and Dr. Johnson got me in the next business day to address the issue. Both Dr. Johnson and China are so personable, caring, and truly go above and beyond for their patients! Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best dental place in NWA. Friendly staff and they always make you feel comfortable. From the front desk to the hygienist/assistants, they always remember you and do amazing work!! Dr. Johnson is amazing and I’m fortunate to have a dentist like him. He is also amazing with kids! The only dentist that could fix a chipped tooth that has held up to the wear and tear of an 11 year old.
