Best dentist in Michigan! My husband, oldest son and I go to her. She is very caring. My almost 6 year old has been going to pediatric dentists and he is terrified of them because of the work they claim they need to do. Some of his composite chipped off and the pediatric dentist was out of town for the week so I called R.K. Dental. She fixed it the next day. He doesn’t want to go back to the pediatric dentist and said he wants to go to R.K. Dental now. She truly is a great dentist!!

RK Family Dental has the rudest, most unprofessional staff I have ever had the misfortune to interact with. I am a 2000 baby who's been coming to this business with my mom ever since I was a little kid. We used to get great care until the original dentist changed to the current dentist around 2018. Ever since, the staff (some of them who I would have fun with since I was a kid) turned inattentive, curt, and straight up rude. In particular, I am now out of college and last time I had an appointment there, I tried to pay but the receptionist talked with another customer for fun and kept making me feel like I was not a priority or I was being problematic because my payment wasn't going through when she wasn't even trying to pay attention to getting me checked out. Another time, they made my mom getting a sensitive toothpaste prescription hard and upsetting, by making unnecessary comments and taking far too long to assist her. Last time I tried to make an appointment was the last straw. I have moved dentists because of what the receptionist said to me. I started my own business so I was without insurance when I called in. I had no issue paying out of pocket. When I asked her for the estimated price before I hung up, she told me and then added a very rude comment. "Do you think you can pay it?" It was unnecessary, unprofessional, and in a downright nasty tone. I was speechless. I said "If I had trouble paying, I wouldn't be making an appointment. On second thought, nevermind. Cancel my appointment." I switched dentists and I assure you, I will never be coming back here. Even if there are no other dentists in Michigan, I would never come back. No one deserves to be treated like this and in addition, the dental care always felt rushed and under done.

I must thank Tracy Boettcher Miller for telling me about RK Family Dental. It turned out to be the best experience in a dental office I have ever had. The Staff made you completely at ease. Tiffany, my hygienist, told me what she would be doing and this was amazing. The trust of not hurting during cleaning is one of my check marks for excellence. Tiffany passed with flying stars! Dr. Kirkpatrick gave me the feeling I had known her for years. I never say I love my dentist but Dr. K is planning on me to say it in the future. I must say she seems very persuasive. The best dentist and hygienist I've ever had. Super friendly, no judgement, and just authentically wants to see you have healthy teeth. Billing is great and works with your insurance to figure everything out, no headaches for me! Love going to RK!

Honestly the best dentist I have ever been too. My hygienist, Sara, was amazing. I haven't been to the dentist in years, and she was so diligent and gentle. My teeth are so clean now. I had a filling done by Dr krikpatrick and Amy, it was painless. I highly recommend.

Great first visit! I was having a hard time finding a dentist that was accepting new patients and used nitrous. The people here are great! Dr Kirkpatrick was so kind and down to earth. I've never been so happy with a dentist. I was going to be charged at another place $593 for three services two of which I didn't need. I was charged $143 for the two fillings she said I needed. Again beyond happy with my new office!
