Smile Kingdom Dental

I just took my son here recently and had a great experience! My son has ADHD and mild autism, and is also scared of the dentist. He immediately went to the video games that are in the lobby. Once it was his turn, his fear kicked back in and he was refusing to go into "the back". The dental assistant was SO good with him and very patient. She was able to get him to go back and get into the chair and clean his teeth. The dentist was also amazing with him. The overall experience was amazing, when it could have been the exact opposite if everyone wasn't so patient. Thank you for making my son and me comfortable!

Such a great place to take your kid! My little one loved this place and felt super comfortable (which can be a struggle). Staff is extremely friendly and very helpful throughout the appointment.

My son has been going here since his first dental visit. He is now five and every single time they have been amazing. They are kind, helpful great with the kids and They do not traumatize kids. Love that they give you a picture after every visit and you can see how your child grows during their dentist visit.

Amazing!!! My 5 year old son started having tooth pain and was crying at night. So the next day we called Smile Kingdom and were seen that afternoon even though we were new patients. Dr Juarez had to pull a baby tooth and I was much more nervous than my son. I watched the procedure in amazement - my son looked like he was at the movie theater - watching the Disney movie on the ceiling. Thank you doctor and staff - no more tears at night.

Dr J and the entire team at Smile Kingdom Dental are amazing. I can’t say enough great things about this team as a whole. Thank you for the incredible patience and support you give my daughter and I each time we go in. Slowly but surely we are getting to a place where my daughter is comfortable with her dentist and knows she’s in loving and caring hands. They even have a sheet for parents on the terminology they use for kiddos so the parents understand what’s going on during each step and the verbiage Dr J and team uses that makes the kids feel comfortable. Your patience and service is incomparable and I could not say thank you enough.

Dr. J absolutely gets 5 stars- He's amazing with my kids and always manages to get their teeth cleaned (even when they aren't thrilled about it). I had a not so great experience recently when I took my kids in for their appointment. We waited in the lobby for 30 minutes after their appointment was supposed to start- no big deal since they have games and toys for them to play with. They finally brought us back into a room (one of the ones with a door), cleaned one of my kids teeth and said Dr. J would be back soon. 25 minutes goes by and we're still waiting- anyone with kids (especially a 3 year old) knows that's actually a lifetime, especially when there's nothing for him to do in that room. I was allowing my 3 year old to get on the dental chair with his brother, and then off when he wanted- they weren't being crazy, and I was keeping them away from any buttons or plugs to ensure they didn't damage anything. Very abruptly, a female staff member rushed in and told my oldest son he needed to sit in the seat and wait for the doctor, and told me that I needed to either hold my 3 year old on my lap, or they could get him a chair of his own but he needed to sit until the doctor could see them. If my kids had been screaming, yelling, or jumping around being disruptive, I would have totally understood- but after us waiting around for 50 minutes (between the lobby and the private room), I was genuinely shocked and upset. The way she said it, and the look she gave me made me feel like I was being mom-shamed. I get that the staff need to keep kids in line sometimes (and that some parents don't do it, or don't know where the line is)- but I'm definitely not a parent that needs to be scolded for their kids behavior. Every other time we've been here, all of the staff has been amazing- just disappointed with how I felt when we finally left last time.
