Truly a great staff
NEVER come here if you want to keep your teeth. Doctor Raven shouldn’t have a license. He did 3 fillings for me and didn’t fully evacuate the cavities but continued to fill them in anyway. Now I have to get 3 root canals. Please do not come here. It’s not safe.
On Friday July 11th, 2025, I had an appointment for the first phase of deep teeth cleaning. Gabby was the one doing the cleaning. She is a wonderful person and very good in her profession. I forgot her actual title, Dental Hygienist I think, but in any event, I think it would be in Woods Dentistry best interest to make sure they keep her as an employee for as long as possible. If she ever left I might have to think about changing to another facility. But for now I'm happy with where I am, and Gabby is a big part of that happy, with a bright smile. I highly recommend Woods Dentistry. On Friday, August 29th, 2025, I had an appointment to get three fillings. The receptionist Kayla was courteous and professional. Upon entry into the room to the chair I immediately got a vibe from the dental assistant that he was gay. I'm not homophobic so I didn't give it much thought. However, during my time in the dental chair I noticed subtle verbal innuendos that could be interpreted as sexual in nature but not outwardly so. Of course he would state they were not sexual and just innocent remarks. In any event while in the chair with my mouth wide open and the dentist doing his work, the dental assistant coughed on two separate occasions. Even though he had on a mask it was somewhat unsettling. During the process of getting my fillings, I heard the dental assistant sniffling as if he had a cold or a runny nose. At one point I unexpectedly began to cough of which I had not done prior waking up or sitting in the dental chair. I coughed two or three times after the assistant had coughed making me wonder if he had spread some of his cough germs into me. It is several hours later and my throat feels a little irritated but I think I'm ok. I'm making this post as a warning. If I had had any indication prior to sitting in that dental chair that the dental assistant was ill I would have refused treatment unless there was a replacement dental assistant. As a matter of fact I'm going to reschedule or cancel the appointment I made whereby he is the dental assistant. I might even find another provider because I was not informed prior to my visit that the original dentist that I was expecting was not working and in fact she has no regular schedule there now. I gave previous good reviews but not this time. Things can change so suddenly. I still standby my good review for the dental hygienist Gabriel and the others, but now I'm seriously considering not visiting this place again. The work by the dentist Ali was good. He made sure I was satisfied with my fillings. He and the receptionist is why I'm giving two stars. One for each of them on this visit. Best wishes.
This practice changed my life. I have found my forever dental home under the care of Doctor Danyal. Not to mention the absolute professionalism of the Office Administration team at both offices. I also had the chance to work with Aesthetics Coordinator Douglas who advocated for me throughout the whole process and made sure my new smile was top quality. I highly recommend the services that Doctor Danyal’s team provides. When I came to Doctor Danyal, my dental health was VERY POOR. I had deep cavities, I needed root canals, I had a tooth break and one tooth was so bad it needed to be removed. I was at a point where I gave up and just wanted to remove my teeth and commit to dentures at the age of 31. Doctor Danyal and her team never made me feel shame, never talked to me in a condescending manner, never made me feel less than for my poor maintenance of dental care. The team approached me with humanity and a comprehensive detailed dental health plan to get me back to optimal dental health. Doctor Danyal and her team have the hands of angels, I felt no pain. The team made sure I knew about floss picks for the tight spaces between my teeth, taught me about floss threaders for maintenance of my bridges and helped me develop a daily dental health regime. Now I feel like that one episode of Fairy Odd Parents where Chip Skylark was singing “My Shiny Teeth and Me.” I love my smile so much. I actively care for and protect my smile now. If you are considering getting crowns, veneers, need a bridge for a missing tooth, cavity fillings or routine dental care, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting an appointment with Doctor Danyal’s team, it was the best decision I have ever made. My new smile has changed my life. My new smile started a domino effect of positivity in my life and I am so incredibly grateful!
