Haymarket Family & Cosmetic Dentistry

The overall experience itself was good and the dentistry work overall smooth. Unfortunately, we ran into issues with billing. We were falsely told our insurance was accepted, multiple times, over a span of close to a year. Until of course the actual denied claims started showing up resulting in significant charges for our family. The practice has shown zero accountability and chalks it up to “not knowing for sure until we start submitting claims.” This should be a good dental practice, but be wary of their billing practices.

I love this practice and have been a patient for over 30 years. Dr David has an anointed touch! He is a gifted dentist! One of the best I’ve known- in my 74 years of life! Kind, compassionate, highly skilled, and caring…what more could you ask for!!

Dr. Mortvedt is incredible and an absolute artist! He was super gentle and explained every step as if I was in training! He was gentle and kind. I love my results and can’t wait to come back (who says that about going to the dentist???) The ladies at the front are wonderful and inviting. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

I love the practice so much. Dr. Mortvedt, Katrina, Brittney, Dori and the entire crew is absolutely fabulous. I'm an adult big chicken when it comes to the dentist but Dr. M has done so much work to keep my smile looking great and my teeth healthy that even when we moved I couldn't bring myself to find another dentist. So I travel from another county to their office. Just yesterday he removed a temporary crown and put in a permanent one without me feeling any discomfort at all. Thank you all for being so wonderful for our family.

Dr. Mortvedt and his staff have completely changed my experiences with dentists. He and the entire staff are fabulous and very conscientious about patient comfort. I have never felt the slightest bit of pain in any aspect of the work he has done, and that work has been fantastic. He was able to help correct some issues that kept me from wanting to smile. Now I'm happy to have a big smile! I told him he's "my hero"!
