Hickory Dental Care

I've been going to this office for years. The entire staff is wonderful. The office is clean and modern. When I first started seeing Dr. Spencer I had some serious Periodontal issues with bone loss. Other dentists simply wanted to pull my teeth and have me get dentures. That was the absolute last thing I wanted. I was so stressed but he listened to me, put me at ease and got me on a plan. He has saved my teeth. I now see Dr. Probst and he is just as great. Emily is my Hygeniest and absolutely wonderful! The front desk clerks are great. I just love everyone there that I have had to deal with. I refuse to go anywhere else! In my opinion, hands down, some of the best dental care Hickory has to offer.

I desperately needed an extraction and was able to get in the next day, whereas other places quoted me 3 weeks out, or never returned my call. The whole experience was great! Everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Dr. Probst and his assistant did an excellent job. My case ended up being more difficult than anticipated, but I never felt like they were at a loss for what to do next, which helped ease my nerves tremendously! They both were very skilled and proficient at their jobs, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this office to others. Two days later, I'm feeling great, have next to no swelling, and things are healing as they should. Thank you!!

I had the most amazing experience from start to finish! From the very first day i called desperately searching for a dentist to help with a temporary crown that was placed on a fractured tooth May 5 2026 by a local dentist who had started the process, however things took a turn for the worst. I had been in pain since the temporary crown had been placed, when unfortunately i ended up at Urgent care May 16 in intense pain and swollen. I was scheduled to get the permanent crown at Claremont Dentistry on May 18, 2026 only to find out that a root canal would be required, and they were Not going to be able to get me in to see someone until almost 2-3 weeks later. Hickory Dental to the rescue! I first spoke with Keithan on May 20,2026 she was so very compassionate and understanding! She worked to get me scheduled very quickly! A few days later May 22,2026 i arrived in their office in intense pain greeted with smiles and wonderful energy! Keithan and Alejandra were the first faces I saw! Alejandra assisted Dr. Probst wonderfully! I was over dealing with the pain. He still provided me options but in the end due to the pain i elected to go with getting an extraction of the troublesome tooth. Dr. Probst made sure that i was prepped to feel pressure but not much pain at all. He got the tooth out lightening fast and I was able to breathe again not in the intense pain. My mother who was there to be my driver for the procedure in case i was unable , also complimented on how friendly they were to her as well, and she wasn't even being seen!! Kudo's for all you do for the community and GOD BLESS YOU ALL RICHLY!!!😊❤️

Recently moved to the area, and reviewed many dental offices in the area. Hickory Dental Care had great reviews and website explained the list of their services- including dental implants. I had my first consultation with Dr. Probst, and it went really well. Very personable, took the time to get to know my history and dental needs. The office staff has been amazing! They were able to get me seen quickly and adjusted their schedule to fit my needs- which is a little chaotic at the time! I appreciate all their efforts! Thank you for a wonderful first visit!!

I honestly couldn’t remember the last time I went to the dentist, and I’ve never really been a big fan of dental visits, but this place completely changed my experience. They are truly CHAMP! Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. I met Becca, and when I told her I’m deaf, she was incredibly patient and kind. She made the effort to communicate by writing things down, clearly explaining her concerns about my teeth and what I can do to keep them healthy again. I felt comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for the entire time. That means a lot to me. I highly recommend this dental office! 😁
