I hope you never need a dental filling, but if you do, Dr. Orlans was great. He and his assistant worked together to quickly distract and treat an anxious patient. :) Thank you!

The man that pulled my tooth is professional, knowledgeable, funny, and respectful. I went to Aspen Dental this morning for an emergency dental extraction and the Dr. didn’t wanna pull the tooth. I called here and they treated me like a celebrity. I would give them 100 star rating if I could.

My wife and I had our first visit this morning. Wonderful experience. Great people. Morgan was our hygienist and she is the best. She actually loves cleaning teeth (she's crazy in a really good way).

Dr. David Orlans is an exceptional dentist who truly stands by his work. I had to come back multiple times for the same tooth, to the point where I joked that I must be his most frequent customer. Each time, Dr. Orlans was patient, reassuring, and clear that he stood behind his work, and he never charged me anything beyond the original treatment. I sincerely appreciated the time, care, and effort he put into making sure everything met his high standards and that I was fully satisfied as a patient. On top of that, the entire staff is incredibly polite, down to earth, and genuinely friendly. It’s clear they care about their patients, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice.

*** UPDATE *** I left High Bridge Dental for good in June 2024 after an awful experience. The staff was unprofessional, unfriendly, and created a tense atmosphere, which made my usual dental anxiety even worse. Every visit, they struggled to find my information in their system and had trouble verifying my insurance, causing unnecessary stress. During my last visit, I was assigned to a hygienist named Barbara (I believe that was her name), and from the moment I saw her, I could tell she did not want to be there. She didn’t greet me or acknowledge me at all—just started working. When I explained that my teeth are very sensitive and that I had previously needed numbing, she dismissed my concerns. The office had also dramatically increased the cost of sedation, which added to my frustration. Barbara was rough, and the pain was unbearable. When I asked her to stop and requested numbing, she sighed loudly, visibly annoyed, and completely ignored me. I felt like she was trying to harm me rather than help. Eventually, I insisted on seeing the dentist, Dr. David Orlans, who had been kind in the past but was surprisingly cold this time. When Barbara dismissively told him I was complaining about pain, he seemed indifferent. I explained how she had been rude and rough, and while he apologized and asked me to give them another chance, I knew I couldn’t continue there. I left feeling upset, traumatized, and even considered taking legal action. No patient should be treated that way, especially by someone using sharp instruments in their mouth. I ultimately decided to switch dentists, and I am so grateful I did! Sophisticated Smiles in Flemington, NJ, has been amazing. They quickly diagnosed my teeth grinding and fitted me for a retainer, which eliminated my headaches. If you go, I highly recommend Mary—she’s fantastic. Months later, I’m still in shock over how High Bridge Dental treated me. They never followed up or acknowledged what happened. I later learned from a leader at my job that they had been dropped as a patient simply for not scheduling a follow-up soon enough—another sign of their unprofessionalism. I also saw another post with this same issue of being dropped for no reason! Save yourself the trouble and do NOT go to High Bridge Dental! ORIGINAL POST I was so nervous going to a dentist since I have not been to one in day many years. I’m talking like 15+ years at least. I was impressed with the class and elegance of the location. I was also impressed by the staff’s amazing customer support. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. The woman who cleaned my teeth and took x-rays gave me so much helpful information. It was a joy to be with her. Then the main Dr. comes in, Dr. Orlans and he was super friendly and down to earth. He also made me feel super comfortable and thankful for being there! I guess it’s true what they say good things are worth waiting for! I could not have found a better dentist at this point! I highly recommend High Bridge Dental!! I actually can’t wait to go back! How many people can say that about their dentist?!
