A Downtown Dental Group

Dr. Wu and the his dental assistant did an excellent job on my extraction. I needed an emergency extraction done because the pain i felt didn’t allow me to sleep. I did research on some dental offices and found a downtown dental group. They were able to take me in just hours after i discovered them on google. I went in and the assistant immediately did a scan on my entire mouth and she was very gentle especially on the molar i was complaining about. They both then brought in all their supplies and got straight to work, i’ll admit that i was VERY nervous especially with how my past experiences went, but they walked me through everything and made sure i was comfortable and didn’t feel anything. I’ll definitely be coming back for any other dental visits, you guys truly have opened up a door for me.

I’ve only had an initial consultation but I am incredibly impressed with Dr Wilfred Miyasaki, Mercedes (Meg), and the the rest of the staff. I have an extreme phobia of the dentist and I so appreciate the way they handled it. Most dental offices have made me feel like there’s something wrong with me, but here the understanding and compassion they provided helped ease some of that anxiety. Going to the dentist will never be something that I will look forward to, but I feel confident that when I do need to be seen the visit will not be a traumatic experience. Mahalo nui loa!

10+ years ago they did my front tooth veneer. Now looking at it I still can't tell which front tooth. I'm still so happy because pior for 25 years this tooth was dead and dark. I didn't need a root canal because it self calcified. For teeth cleaning Janet has cared for my special health needs for no fluoride no menthol and just plain pumus for polishing. Over 10 years she never once forgotten. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Especially because they now have the new Airflow machine. You can see all the biofilm and bacteria before and after cleaning. More gentle no vibrations and more clean. Amazing!

This office was very clean and staff very polite. I didn’t come from home so I asked them for a toothbrush so I could brush my teeth before seeing my dentist and they gladly gave me one. Thank goodness!! I saw Dr. David Miyasaki and he will consult me soon about options for my teeth. He was very kind and had such positive news for my future appointments. Looking forward to seeing him on May 1, 2026. Mahalo loa for cleaning my teeth too!!

Best dental experience ever for my teenager! First time here and have been very impressed from the start. Roni is very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, caring and understanding. Joanne is sweet, gentle and compassionate. Shout out to Dr. Wu who went over and beyond with dental consultation, exam and cleaning! Dr. Wu took time to (1) read report beforehand and (2) demonstrate to my teenager, who just got braces, where to focus when brushing teeth and how to floss. Flossing with braces has been difficult for my teenager, and I’m really grateful for the time Dr. Wu spent teaching my teenager how to slip the floss behind the archwires and in between the teeth in order to floss properly. Dr. Wu and staff are the best! Thank you!

I came all the way from Maui hoping I could get an appointment to fix my teeth, and they got me in right away like I had been a regular patient for years! That meant a lot to me. The doctor was amazing and extremely skilled, and his assistant was just as great. They both took very good care of me and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The staff was kind, professional, and very welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their patients and their work. I’m very grateful for the help they gave me today. If you need dental work done, I highly recommend this place. Definitely a 5-star experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I just had a great experience with my dentist, Dr. Miyazaki at A Downtown Dental Group For my implant. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at ease. Mahalo to the whole team for taking good care of me. Highly recommend!
