I have been a patient at this dental office for over a year, and the way I was treated during my appointment today was the most disrespectful and upsetting experience I have had there. I arrived for what I believed was my scheduled appointment to begin preparation for two dental crowns. Approximately five minutes before I arrived, I received a phone call informing me that Dr. Joshua George would not be able to see me because I needed additional dental work before the crowns could be completed. This was confusing because, during my previous appointment, I understood that no additional treatment was needed before moving forward with the crowns. When I arrived, I asked both the front desk staff and Dr. Joshua George why I had not been informed sooner if my treatment plan had changed. I also asked why I was only being notified minutes before my appointment. I was seeking an explanation because the information I received today was inconsistent with what I had previously been told. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, Dr. Joshua George began speaking over me and raising his voice while I was trying to understand the situation. As I continued asking questions, he stood over me, continued yelling, and told me that I needed to leave immediately or I would be considered trespassing. I have video footage showing part of this interaction, including him leaving the area and returning to continue speaking to me. During the incident, a member of the front desk staff remained with me, attempted to help me, and reassured me that I was not wrong for asking questions about my treatment. I appreciated her professionalism during a very uncomfortable situation. As a patient, I believe I had the right to ask for clarification about changes to my treatment plan without being yelled at or threatened with trespassing. The interaction left me feeling intimidated, uncomfortable, and unsafe. Because of this experience, I informed the office that I no longer wished to receive treatment at that location.

Everything seemed amiss at this dental office. The receptionist was engrossed in anything else, failing to provide any assistance. The nurse, with her long nails and chewing gum, couldn’t properly secure the protection bag onto the teeth scanner. The doctor, short on time, couldn’t explain the procedure in simple terms, resorting instead to unfamiliar medical jargon. To top it off, the price list at the exit posed questions to the person who created it, raising doubts about the legitimacy of this dental office.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this office. The front desk staff member, whose name I believe was Jenny or possibly Jeani, was incredibly rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in. Instead of welcoming greeting, I felt like I was an inconvenience. She was short with her responses and had a very condescending tone when I asked a simple question. A dental office should feel welcoming from the moment you walked in, but her attitude made the entire experience uncomfortable. I even had to look over the counter and around her computer just to speak with her, and she continued looking at her screen instead of making eye contact. It felt very impersonal and unprofessional. I understand everybody is going through things personally, but if this is the case, you should definitely keep it at home and not bring it to your job. I've never experienced anything like that before, especially at an office located in the Galleria area where I expected a higher level of customer service. I will say the doctor and the rest of the staff were great. I was actually looking forward to becoming a new patient since I was referred by a friend who had nothing but great things to say. Unfortunately, my interaction at the front desk made me reconsider returning.

My teeth whitening experience was exceptional. So much care and attention to detail. Performed exactly as explained and I received the Mother’s Day discount. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Eftekhari and her staff were great with my autistic teenage son. We are long-time patients of BLVD in Rice Village but had not been to the Galleria location until today. Since we moved over here, I decided to give the Galleria location a try, and I'm very glad that we chose this office for my son's dental needs as it was an all-around pleasant 5-Star experience!
