Really am happy with the entire staff here. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with professionalism and a smile. Had a great visit -and the hygienist did a terrific job. All though I miss seeing Dr Miyamura I really like the new dentist Dr Johnson. I feel I’m in good hands. He is very professional and kind like the rest of the staff.

Michaela did my cleaning today and she was awesome. Very personable and thorough. I’ve been seeing Dr. Miyamura forever and the ownership change has been smooth!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are honestly not enough words to thank Kailua Dental Care. I came to Hawaii to visit my aunt, and what was supposed to be an amazing vacation quickly turned into a nightmare. I had recently had a root canal before leaving home, and out of nowhere I was hit with the most unbearable, excruciating tooth pain. I was in tears, couldn’t enjoy my trip, and had no idea where to turn since I wasn’t even from Hawaii. The moment we called Kailua Dental Care, they treated me like family. They got me in the SAME DAY without hesitation, and every single person I met was so warm, kind, and genuinely caring. You could tell they truly cared about helping me not just getting me in and out. After examining my tooth, they realized my temporary filling needed to be adjusted. They carefully shaved it down, and I felt relief almost immediately. I can’t even describe how grateful I was. They literally saved my vacation. Being so far from home and needing emergency dental care is incredibly stressful, but they made me feel like I’d been their patient for years. The compassion, professionalism, and level of care I received were beyond anything I expected. If you’re lucky enough to live in Hawaii, you already have an incredible dental office nearby. And if you’re visiting like I was and find yourself needing emergency dental care, don’t even think twice—go to Kailua Dental Care. They turned one of the worst experiences into one I’ll always remember for all the right reasons. From the moment you step into the office you're met with professional, friendly staff. They introduce themselves, explain what procedure is being done and check with you throughout the procedure to ensure you're comfortable or need a break. I HIGHLY recommend Kailua Family Dental!

Dr. Johnson and his whole team are wonderful. I sometimes have sensitive teeth, but I felt comfortable during my last cleaning and cavity filling. They also made sure they got me the best rate with my insurance for the billing, which I really appreciated.

I’ve been happy with every appointment I’ve had at Kailua Family Dental. Staff at the front desk, dental technicians, and dentists have consistently been kind, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the years of dental care I’ve had there, including cleanings, x-rays, mouthguard fittings, and cavity fillings. Even after moving to the west side of the island, I still prefer to travel to their office for dental care, and I’m very glad to have found such a great dental care team.
