Fast virtual check in. Came in early and they took me early. Nurses very friendly as was Doctor Moon. Dental cleaning work and X-rays were thorough and fulfilling. Dr.’s exam was presented to me in layman’s terms which I understood to its fullest. Mahalo Hawaii Family Dental.

Dr Moon is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I don’t even know where to begin to express my gratitude. This location is the best location because of Dr. Moon, the office manager Selena, the front desk Mandy and Eva, the nurse Fera, and the rest of the team!! They show that they genuinely care about their patients, they’re SO helpful and SWEET. I drive all the way from town for them and it’s totally worth it!! Windward location has been the most amazing experience! Dr Lau was my dentist at their Kaka’ako location, however, after he retired, for the past 3-4 years, I couldn’t find a dentist that I can trust, who have shown a genuine patient care and interest in me and my health. I am sooo glad I read and listened to the wonderful reviews that Dr Moon had, because they just proved right! I will make sure I spread the word about this location and Dr Moon. MAHALO again for the best service ever!! I APPRECIATE YOU ALL GREATLY!

Dr. Jason and his staff at Hawaii Family Dental have been exceptional over the past several months of major dental work. Their professionalism, friendliness, and clear expertise made the whole process smooth and reassuring. From the start, they took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment plan, step by step, so I always knew what was coming next. The staff was just as helpful on the financial side — friendly, patient, and clear about the cost of each service before anything was done. My longtime dentist retired, so I needed a new provider close to home with plenty of parking — Dr. Jason and HFD at Windward Mall checked all the boxes and MORE. I’m grateful to have found a team I trust and feel comfortable with. Highly recommended!

Love everyone at this place. From beginning to end they are helpful and efficient. The folks upfront are so nice and really help walk you through everything. My hygienist, Jen, is the best! Dr. Moon is also very terrific. I saw him today bcuz my crown came off and he squeezed me in to get it back on and did a great job. Everyone there is just very nice. If you’re looking for a change, I would recommend this place.

Really appreciate Dr. Moon and his team. Do a great job of caring for my teeth. I previously had a lot of challenges with a previous crown where my dentist wasn't able to anesthetize my teeth fully. Apparently I had a nerve anomaly? Extraordinarily painful experience. But when Dr. Moon did it, it went very smoothly, complete anesthesia, great healing, excellent service. Extremely happy to have changed over to them. Dental hygienist who does my regular cleaning is super sweet too.

Dr. Moon and the staff are all professional and friendly. They are careful and thoughtful when handling your dental needs, from routine cleaning, or fixing a filling or front desk scheduling or billing, all amazing and kind. The dental work is supreme! Great work and kudos to the team!
