I seldom leave reviews as I’ve seldom rely on them for services. However, my experience defines the compassionate dental experience which I walked in living my nightmare. Basically I had broken my 3 front teeth. As I am disabled and not in a position to be vain, I call Dental Works who had me seen with emergency , quick care. I was seen, specifically Dr. Williams was the most compassionate, gentle “fix” that I could afford and make it through the process; humbly intact. I don’t remember the whole team’s names. But, from my biggest cheerleader helping choose matching teeth colors to Dr. Williams assistant Ariel who was just a joy to know as she worked to give me a smile, or give it back. Finally, I must acknowledge Kelsey who maid the money side of things make sense. She listened and understood my situation; working to make a financial plan that was more than “less than I expected “, but one that let me understand. I know I’ve missed names, but as I paid the nice young lady who took my call to taking my money…it was a very pleasant experience given I walked in covering my mouth so no one would see the embarrassing situation I was in. A terrible situation made tolerable with a smile and compassion. My dentist. Dental Works, Dr, William’s and team is my dentist and sharing this is the least I could do.
I had a very pleasant experience at DentalWorks. I was very nervous about seeing a new dentist but everyone, especially Dr. Louis Williams, made sure that I felt comfortable and valued as a patient.
DO NOT GO HERE I BARELY TRUST DENTAL PRACTICES AFTER THIS PLACE!!! I recently stopped going to this dentist because they told be I needed a set of GUMX trays and basically shoved the forms in my face to sign saying this was the absolute best option to the tune of over $1000. Talked to other dentists outside of this practice who had never even heard of this treatment and said it is basically a scam. The "trays" they 3D print of your mouth could basically just be a mouthguard you boil and bite into for the purpose they are being used for which is to put the GUMX gel into and press against your teeth and gums. The gel itself cost barely anything but they insist you need to get the treatment - which they don't talk you through what you are paying for before shoving it in your face. Ended up getting the gel and having to go back multiple times because "the tubes sit in a hot truck in the summer and it liquefies". The first time I went to get another tube I forgot to bring back the defective one and they said if I did not have it they would have to charge me over a thousand dollars for it and being the very opposite of understanding or even listening - obviously the receptionist had not idea what she was talking about because those tubes cost under 50 dollars- can't remember the exact amount anymore. Ended up speaking to the manager even though I would have liked Dr. Ryan to explain to me why I needed this specific treatment in the first place and the efficacy of it vs other alternatives that might have been less costly. He practically ran out of the manager's office when he heard a patient wanted to speak with him and they sent me to her instead. She tried to offer me a couple free tubes of the stuff as if that would make up for the trays I got or them messing up on multiple occasions and then being so rude for no reason Obviously they are big money seekers and if you do research on gumx or delta dental then you will see this place is just big dental looking out for money and not really caring about the best care they can give to their patients. I highly recommend finding a different dentist to anyone who wants a practice that cares about the patients more than lining their pockets by having people pay for stuff they don't need. I now go to a different dentist for the first time in my adult life and know what a good dental experience is supposed to be like!
Had a great visit. Dr Ryan is always very professional and great at his job. My hygienist was very good and thorough. She told me I was better with my gum care
Second visit at this clinic and still not impressed. The first visit I had started out great, I was brought back right away and everyonewas really nice and helpful. However, they apparently do not do cleanings on your first visit. This would have been nice to know at scheduling since I had recently switched jobs and insurance and I was due for a cleaning. They were unable to get me in for a cleaning for 5+ months. When that day came and I arrived for my cleaning and checked in I was told I wasn't scheduled for that day. Mind you I had been getting confirmation texts and had already confirmed my appointment. Apparently my appointment time was wrong on their schedule. They did see me, but it felt like they were unprepared and squeezed me in. After a few minutes I was taken back. I then had to wait close to 30 minutes for my cleaning to begin. The hygienist seemed nice enough but spent about 15 minutes cleaning my teeth and seemed very rushed. She was heavy handed and really didn't give me much of any information just tried to get me out the door. This would have been nice since the dentist did not see me either. Looking back im pretty sure i was due for a couple things that were also not addressed. Definitely not what I was expecting. Overall I would not recommend. Update: I guess they didn't like my honest review. They canceled my appointment that was just made. No attempt to contact me and no explanation. Thats fine I probably would have canceled anyway. Saved me a phone call.
I started out with Invisalign…everything was going good until they lost my trays forcing me to switch to metal braces. No biggie; I was ok with the metal braces. I wore my braces for over a year and then covid hit. I went almost another year wearing the same braces, received no service or tightening!!! During covid, the orthodontics was only available 1 day a week. Ok time passed and I finally got my braces off and then my retainer was applied. The retainer did NOT KEEP my teeth straight forcing me back into braces!!! I wore my braces for about another 5 months and then I was able to get the braces taken off. THEN the Cedar Springs location CLOSED and guess what….THEY LOST MY RETAINER and then sent me another bill after everything was paid for upfront years ago. I would NOT recommend Dental Works. I still don’t have a retainer and they aren’t willing to help me. it was a waste of years and money‼️
They were very thorough. They were pleasant. Felt no pain whatsoever. All of that made me a happy camper. I would definitely recommend them to everyone Dr. Ryan was amazing and so was the dental assistant!
