Sweet Smiles Mt Pleasant

Very disappointing experience with Dr. Kaur. Previously, when I was self-pay, she was perfectly willing to proceed with a cleaning without X-rays as long as I signed a waiver. This time, the moment insurance was involved, suddenly X-rays were pushed aggressively. She waited until I was already in the chair to tell me she would not do a cleaning without X-rays. This could have been a phone call! I had already taken off work and wasted 30 minutes in the office before having to reschedule to an afternoon appointment. When I returned to have the X-rays done, she still couldn't give clear answers on what she saw. She said things like, " Everything looks good", but when pressed, she said, "That shadow might be an early cavity, but it's ok." Is it a cavity or is it ok?? She did not do periodontal probing or inspect my tongue or soft tissues, but I'm sure my insurance will be billed for an exam. I requested a manual cleaning, which she "completed" in less than 10 minutes. I had to ask for floss to complete my own visit because between my teeth felt worse. For doctors, if you are going to insist on X-rays, you should at least know how to interpret them, then provide a complete oral examination and cleaning afterward. Instead, the appointment felt incompetent, rushed, and insurance-driven rather than patient-centered.

Can't thank them enough for seeing me same day and pulling an unbearably painful tooth that a different dentist was going to make me wait another week to do.. they are laid back, make you feel super comfortable, and the dentist and dental assistant were so nice. I'd take a lower budget FRIENDLY place that actually CARES over a high end place any day!! And to top it off it was half the price than the other place was going to be! I will be returning for the rest of my care.. thank you again !!!!

Went in for a cleaning and general oral health checkup. The front desk staff was kind and very helpful and the cleaning procedure was pleasant and quick. The doctor was clear and concise in follow up steps. Overall a great experience!

I had a great experience at Sweet Smiles Dental. The environment was welcoming and the staff was very professional. Deja was exceptionally kind, patient, and attentive throughout my visit. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and even took the extra step to make sure my face was clean before I left. That level of care really stood out. I truly appreciate the service and would definitely recommend them!

I had a very bad experience with previous dentists and then found this place. Everybody is super sweet and helpful. They always accommodate me to make me feel comfortable whilst I am there and have completely fixed my dental issues for me. Definitely recommend this place over others.

I was a bit hesitant when I arrived at the facility for i’ve worked in dentistry for 15 years and wouldn’t usually see a family dentist for a 3rds removal but i went for it anyways. By my surprise it went very well! The doctor and staff were very nice, patient and welcoming. Thank you guys for the excellent care!
