This was my first cavity filling, and Dr. Spencer and Yaritsa (I'm very sorry if I spelled the name wrong) definitely made this a positive experience. They were considerate, kind, and caring. Also, the fillings did not hurt at all, and took less time than I thought it would. Overall great dentist appointment, would recommend.

My hygienist Nora is fantastic. I’m 70 years old and she has been the best kindest gentle person I know. Her technique is wonderful and she explains everything in detail. I’m not sure how to spell her name but you can check my records Barbara Johnson October 13, 1955. I was seeing on June 24, 2026

Everyone was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I am super anxious when receiving any dental procedures and a tooth extraction and bone graft was very scary for me. I am amazed at how quick it went and I was checked on continuously to make sure I was ok!! Dr. LaVacca was very accommodating and I highly recommend. I'm pretty sure I was given VIP treatment!! I can't thank him enough for his knowledge, skill, and advice!!!

I recently went in for a routine cleaning and my hygienist, Nour, was absolutely fantastic! She made sure I was comfortable and explained what she was doing every step of the way. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating as well!

I had all on 4 implants ,top and bottom done here. Dr.Lavacca and his staff are absolutely the best.The work speaks for itself but the professionalism, friendliness and overall experience in office and after care including Dr.lavaccas texts to check in or just to answer any questions I might have are unmatched. everyone in office is always so welcoming and friendly they make it easy.

They cancelled my appointment a few hours beforehand with no warning. 6 months ago, I scheduled a dental cleaning appointment for 5/1/2026 at 12pm. I scheduled the appointment well in advance so that it could be at a time that worked with my work schedule. I’ve been doing this for years and it has never been a problem, and I have always showed up to my appointments as scheduled on time. On 5/1/2026 (a few hours before my appointment) Naperville Dental Specialists called me at 9:01am and left a voicemail telling me that they cancelled my appointment because I didn’t confirm it. I called them back at 9:03am and asked them what was going on. At that point they communicated that they had changed their policy and they now cancel appointments if the appointment is not confirmed 24 hours in advance. At no point in time was that policy change communicated to me prior to them cancelling my appointment, nor was I ever told that they would cancel my appointment if I didn’t confirm it. I told them they only cancelled it 2 minutes ago and asked them to put my appointment back on the calendar. They told me that within those 2 minutes of cancelling my appointment and me returning the call that they had rescheduled someone else for the time of my appointment - that they spontaneously cancelled. I don’t believe that - it was literally 2 minutes. They then offered appointments later in May that didn’t fit my work schedule and 2 months later in June. It seems like they are cancelling appointments to compensate for inadequate staffing. Every time I’ve gone there for the past few years, I’ve always had a new temporary hygienist. Either way, this is unbelievable. They failed to communicate their own policy change, then they spontaneously cancelled my appointment on the day of a few hours beforehand with no warning, and it adversely impacted me and my work schedule. I already pre-arranged my work schedule and took time off from work for this appointment. What a waste of my time to have a company not keep their end of an appointment. Don’t schedule the appointment if you can’t keep it. What a terrible way to do business. Leading up to the appointment, I received a few reminder voicemails and emails, but they were for awareness purposes and never stated they would cancel the appointment if I didn’t call back. The reminder calls were during business hours, I was in meetings, and they left voicemails as reminders of the appointment. That was fine, they were making me aware of the appointment, but they didn’t say they would cancel the appointment if I didn’t call them back. They also sent me a few reminder emails that said “see you soon” to make me aware of the appointment, but they didn’t mention anything about cancelling the appointment for any reason. If I would have known that confirming my dental cleaning appointment was an emergency on their end – I would have stopped my workday to call them back to confirm my appointment. Unbelievable. If you’re looking for a dental office that will spam you with reminders for an appointment and then spontaneously cancel it a few hours beforehand, this is it.

I am fairly new to the practice. I had implants placed a year ago there and decided to switch all other dental services over since they did my implants. I was reluctant to switch but so glad I did. Every doctor/dentist I have seen are exceptional!

Naperville Dental Specialists are fantastic! Full service dental care for all ages. My most recent appointment with the dental hygienist was informative and reassuring. I had a question about something the dentist had said at my prior visit. The hygienist had reviewed my records prior to my visit and knew exactly which teeth I was referring to. She fully explained what was happening to my teeth over my lifetime and what the dentist’s plan of treatment is. My question was perfectly answered. The rest of my appointment went great and no cavities. Yay!

Dr. Irene Jovicic and her staff were incredibly kind and informative as my previous dentist retired and I was a new patient for them. They spent extra time, explained a comprehensive care plan, and it felt like they actually cared about my overall dental health. I’m looking forward to working with them long-term. Highly recommend!
