I am a avid user of PA Smiles, the staff is amazing but walking into my referral appointment with Orange family dental was odd. I never received any appointment updates because they got my number wrong. They never looked at the email that should’ve been listed on my info that was sent over to contact me. When I got there they said my appointment was Automatically cancelled. After going back and forth with the receptionist, they agreed to see me to minimize the pain I was experiencing until my new appointment 6 days from now. I went back to the room and talked to the assistant. The dentist came in and got to work checking where my pain was. He gave me nothing for numbing and started drilling. It was excruciating so naturally, I pulled away. He continued. I pulled away. He stopped and said stop pulling away. If we’re gonna do this we have to work together. I told him it was excruciating. He didn’t care. He got up and left the room and the assistant followed. At that point I told my mom we needed to leave NOW. When we were leaving he was filling out another referral paper like he wasn’t going to finish what he started and never even communicated his plan or anything. I left there with a tooth that has been drilled into, which isn’t even the correct tooth. He was rude and very impatient with me. The manager was nice and tried to accompany us, but doctor bob was far from cooperative

I had a great experience with Dr. Bob and his staff. I had an emergency with a broken wisdom tooth, and they got me in the very next day. Dr. Bob was able to extract the tooth during that same visit. Everyone was kind, professional, and made the whole process easy. I highly recommend this office!

My experience with this office has been outstanding. Every time I had a question, the staff took the time to answer it thoroughly and made sure I understood everything. They have been incredibly helpful, kind, and compassionate throughout my experience. The doctor is exceptional—he is not only knowledgeable and attentive during appointments but also takes the time to check on his patients afterward, which truly shows how much he cares. I also want to recognize Kate, the dental hygienist. She is absolutely wonderful! She is gentle, friendly, and made this experience as comfortable as possible. Her professionalism and caring attitude truly stand out. The entire office staff is welcoming, professional, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality dental care.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Orange Family Dental, especially Dr. Bob Mendel and Daisey. I begrudgingly walked in knowing I had to have a wisdom tooth extracted, and I was incredibly anxious about the entire experience. Every step of the process was explained to me, and they made sure I felt comfortable, informed, and cared for from beginning to end. Dr. Bob Mendel performed the extraction with incredible confidence and skill. What I had built up in my mind as a terrible experience turned out to be far easier than I ever expected because of his calm demeanor and expertise. Daisey was equally amazing. She made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth recovery, thoroughly explained my aftercare instructions, and even sent a thoughtful check-in message the very next day to see how I was doing. That level of care and personal attention is something you just don't find everywhere. If you're nervous about going to the dentist, I wholeheartedly recommend Orange Family Dental. Had my first root canal today with Dr. Bob and he did absolutely phenomenal! I was so incredibly nervous but it was so easy and completely painless! I’m so thankful for him and his wonderful staff!

I had the best experience! Dr. Bob and Daisy are a great team! I had a broken tooth that had been bothering me for months! Dr. Bob was able to fix me up right then and there when every other dentist I had been too didn’t want to touch it! They are amazing! The whole staff were kind and caring! Made us feel right at home!
