We originally started seeing Dr. Rowe and, in the beginning, our experience was very positive. The staff was friendly, the office was welcoming, and the dental work performed for my family met expectations. Over time, however, things began to change. There was a noticeable shift at the front desk with a team member who was often rude, easily agitated, and difficult to work with. Around that same period, there were also staffing changes, and unfortunately, the overall quality of care we experienced began to decline. We started noticing issues with dental work that did not meet the same standards we had experienced earlier. For example, there were rough edges on fillings that would catch and shred dental floss, and crowns that did not feel properly contoured or aligned. When these concerns were raised during visits, they were often brushed off rather than fully addressed or corrected. In one instance, I had a crown placed in 2023 that never felt right from the start. I expressed concerns before leaving the office that it felt flat and misaligned, but I was told I needed time to adjust. The issues continued, including difficulty flossing and food getting trapped. I also experienced problems with the temporary crown prior to placement. Ultimately, I chose not to return to the office after that experience. When I later saw another dentist for unrelated care, a full exam revealed that the crown needed to be replaced to restore proper fit and function. That replacement resulted in significant out-of-pocket expense because insurance would not cover it within the replacement timeframe. The same provider also identified a minor issue with an adjacent tooth that required a simple filling. To be fair, Dr. Rowe is personable and professional in demeanor, and our early experiences with the practice were good. However, as time went on, the work began to feel rushed, communication around concerns was lacking, and there were instances where recommended treatment did not align with what we were later told by another provider. As a result of these experiences, I stopped seeing Dr. Rowe in 2023. My husband, my mother, and I have all chosen to seek care elsewhere. I cannot speak to the current state of the practice, but based on our experience, I felt it was important to share this feedback so others can make an informed decision.

owe Family Dentistry has been absolutely amazing to work with. The entire team is kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating. My husband has had several urgent dental needs over the years—most recently with a veneer that kept giving him trouble—and they have always gone out of their way to get him in quickly, often on very short notice. You can tell they truly care about their patients. From the front office to the treatment chair, everything runs smoothly and you never feel rushed or overlooked. It’s such a relief knowing we can count on a dental office that is not only highly skilled, but genuinely compassionate and responsive when it matters most. If you’re looking for a dentist who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and truly puts patients first, I can’t recommend Rowe Family Dentistry enough!

If it were possible, I would give this practice zero stars. My experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The office is disorganized, and the quality of care I received was unacceptable. I required a dental implant, which has been problematic from the start. During the procedure, Dr. Rowe dropped the correct screw and used an incorrect one, which ultimately caused the tooth to crack. The tooth was sent out for repair, and I traveled back to the office after relocating out of state for the follow-up. However, just 30 minutes before my appointment, I received a call stating they could not locate my tooth. I was told they would mail it to me so I could have it placed by a new dentist. That was in May. It is now August, and despite numerous calls to the office, I have not received the tooth or any return communication. I have since requested a full refund so that I can restart treatment in my new state, but my calls remain unanswered. I am now in the process of involving legal counsel simply to get a response. I strongly advise avoiding this practice due to their lack of professionalism, accountability, and follow-through.

Used to be good. At some point, the practice eliminated dedicated front desk staff and instead assigned receptionist duties to dental assistants and hygienists. Sadly, it shows. Calls during business hours frequently go unanswered, appointments are often mishandled, confirmations are never sent, and upon arrival, you have to lean over the counter and flag someone from the back just to check-in. Poor office administration and coordination can sink a practice, which is definitely the case with Rowe. Dr. Rowe does fine dental work, but a well-run office is just as important as quality dentistry, and unfortunately, this practice falls short. If the team cannot properly coordinate patient appointments, calls, or scheduling, it's really not worth visiting. Save yourself the hassle--there are better options out there.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rowe for 12+ years and will never see another dentist so long as I reside within driving distance of his office. (Currently I live an hour away and HAPPILY make the trek.) I have had dental anxiety my entire life due to bad experiences both as a child and an adult, but Dr. Rowe and his staff have always put me at ease and are so understanding. Cannot recommend this practice enough.
