Black Hills Area Dental

've been a patient here on and off for years. I actually came here as a kid, but had to switch dental offices for a while. After not having the best experiences elsewhere, I decided to come back about a year ago, and I'm so glad I did. This office has been amazing from the moment I returned. The entire team is so welcoming, kind, and genuinely cares about their patients. I recently had to get a few cavities filled, and as someone who's always been very anxious about the dentist, I was incredibly nervous. They made the entire process so much easier than I expected. They checked in with me throughout the appointment, made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and explained everything they were doing, which really helped ease my anxiety. The care I've received here has reminded me why I loved coming here in the first place. If you're looking for a dental office that truly puts their patients first and makes even the most nervous people feel comfortable, I can't recommend them enough!

I was on vacation with my family, 500 miles away from home when a crown came off. You were able to schedule me in within 2 hours after opening on a Monday morning! I can't begin to express my gratitude and relief. Staff were incredibly nice and caring and I was back to enjoying family time the same day. Thank you!

They were on time with appointments didn't leave you just sitting. They did everything to make sure you were comfortable, they were also very picky that color matched. I have absolutely no complaints.

For over a decade I’ve been impressed with the professionalism of Dr Samuelson and his entire staff. Dr Samuelson’s combination of attention to detail and caring attitude at every visit has been appreciated. I have referred friends to BHAD and to a person they have been similarly impressed as well.

The experience shown from the dental assistant/office manager was absolutely calming and hands down what I needed. You can definitely tell she has been doing this for 36 years. Dr. Samuelson was thorough I truly appreciated the care I received.

Waited just a short time to get into the procedure room. Both Dr. Samuelson and Michelle were great about explaining each phase of the procedure. Michelle spent time going over several cleaning procedures and gave me samples to try. Thank you for such good care!

My kids & I just moved to the area, had our first appts today at BHAD, and are super pleased with our entire experience! We were greeted kindly, then our new hygienist-Deidra took us back and did an excellent job on our cleanings! (Very thorough!) I have dental anxiety; she was patient, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Samuelson explained everything well, answered all my questions, and gave us our treatment plans. The dental assistants helped with my kids’ X-rays, and their entire staff was friendly, professional, and detail oriented. (Cute Christmas decor, too) They helped schedule our next appts around our crazy schedule, and my kids aren’t complaining about going back! :)
