Red Bank Smiles | Dr. Benjamin Klayman

At my last appointment with Red Bank Smiles, there was a Ring camera pointed towards me. It appeared it was on as indicated by a blue light. I find this to be strange, as I have never experienced video recording during a medical appointment. It may be technically legal but not comfortable in my opinion, especially in an age where people are more concerned with data and privacy. I also don't wish to get continously asked by their staff about scheduling unnecessary dental work or consultations, none of which has ever occured with previous providers. REPLY: Posting in an anonymous fashion is to protect my identity and is within my right. It does not invalidate my experience. To confirm, this review is for Dr. Benjamin Klayman and his practice, Red Bank Smiles. Additionally HIPAA prevents privileged healthcare information from being confirmed or denied. I would advise against responding to reviews in that fashion.

Went for a cleaning and filling. Could not bite on the filling side so I went back, they filed down the filling and said it would feel normal after some time. Never felt 100%. 7 months later the filling fell out and my new dentist said I still have a cavity in that tooth. Feels great now. Full disclosure, my cleaning there was great! In response, yes this is 14 months after the fact because i do not like leaving negative reviews and I believe in giving people the chance to correct mistakes. I was ok with moving on to someone that could fix it without dwelling on what was. After being given the opportunity to correct a mistake, your response was clearly dismissive, I felt it is important to share this. Ps. If you are questioning what was done, I am more than happy to send the dentists notes.

Good for cleaning and basic dentistry like fillings but really screwed up my veneers. Imagine your teeth just falling out while you're traveling. I was also charged $875 for a temporary denture that I wore for about a day while they were more concerned with cosmetic office renovations instead of fixing the real issue. I was never told that insurance would not cover the cost. I went back to my original doctor even though he's an hour away and witnessed what a real dental work looks like. Temporaries that don't fall out. I can eat without the fear of breaking a crown. A comprehensive plan for a long term solution.

I have been going to Red Bank Smiles for over a decade, since right when they opened. In that time span I have changed my podiatrist 4 times, my CPA twice, my physical therapist 3 times, moved twice, driven 4 different cars...basically, if I am sticking with an outfit that long, they must be REALLY good. Ben and Diane and the team are the best. It is so nice, in today's world, to have a personal relationships like with a medical professional.

I was in search for a new Dentist. I was highly recommended from a friend of mine to visit Red Bank smiles. From the minute I made my first phone call, all the way to the office visit and everything in between——- Dr Benjamin and his team have provided a comfortable, clean, thorough and a very professional atmosphere. The office staff are extremely helpful in assisting you get scheduled and situated with your dental insurance and any other questions you may have……This practice makes going to the dentist a breeze! I strongly recommend anyone to make an appointment!!!
