Dentists of Riverview

I had a disappointing experience with this dental office and ultimately canceled my appointment because I was not comfortable proceeding without a clearer explanation of the recommended treatment. During my visit, the dentist examined my teeth and took X-rays. I was told that several of my periodontal pocket measurements were 5–6 mm, and deep periodontal cleaning was recommended. However, the AI-assisted X-ray analysis appeared to show mostly 3–4 mm measurements. My bacterial test result was also low, which left me with questions about the diagnosis and the basis for the recommended treatment. The office also cited inflammation and bleeding as reasons for the treatment recommendation. I had not noticed bleeding or other symptoms myself, so I wanted a clearer explanation of the clinical findings supporting that conclusion. I received several treatment estimates, including approximately $360 for deep periodontal cleaning with antibacterial irrigation. Laser treatment was presented as an additional option, and a consultation with a periodontist was recommended for a future date. I called to ask whether I could have a regular cleaning now, consult a periodontist, and reconsider the recommended treatment in three months when my FSA funds became available. The office declined this option and told me that periodontal maintenance was the minimum service available, with an out-of-pocket cost of $82. I understand that dental treatment recommendations should be based on clinical findings, and I am willing to pay for necessary care when it is clearly explained. However, I did not feel that my questions about the diagnosis, treatment options, timing, and associated costs were adequately addressed. I also wanted to understand why a periodontist consultation would be scheduled for a later date rather than help clarify my concerns before proceeding. Ultimately, I canceled my appointment because I was not comfortable proceeding without greater clarity. The experience left me concerned about the transparency of the treatment recommendations and the limited flexibility offered to address my concerns. One positive aspect was that when I asked about insurance coverage for the X-rays and photographs taken during my visit, the office assured me they would cover the cost if insurance did not. I appreciated that reassurance. I hope the office improves its communication with patients by clearly explaining clinical findings, treatment options, and costs so patients can make informed decisions about their dental care.

I had wonderful experience at this dental office! The entire team is professional, detail oriented, and genuinely caring. Everyone demonstrates proper manners, treats patients with respect, and takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. Ghazavi and Emmy deserve special recognition for their kindness and attention to detail. They make you feel comfortable, respected and well cared for. Highly recommend this office for their excellent service!

Dr. Amir and the entire team were absolutely amazing! I had a great experience with my dental care from start to finish. Dr. Amir was professional, kind, patient, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and takes pride in his work. I have had nothing but great experiences at this dental office. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. Jonathan Gomogda took excellent care of me and made all of my visits comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

First off, you guys need to have more stars than five.. 10+ plus I can’t thank you enough and how you guys treat “My Morales” Who is such a worry wart He’s only had one Dentist in his lifetime since his childhood we’ve only been here in Florida, four years this coming November finding a dentist for a household, especially for him was an experience to say the least we found you through our insurance. We actually went to another one when he needed work done you was our second. Dentist that we found that gave full coverage and hands-down that we actually bought in our daughter for another appointment. You guys are exceptional phenomenal, and to say the least amazing coming in through the doors was extremely friendly Chris with his bubbly self amazing Dr. Amir and his assistant Mabel Are an amazing team they work like an orchestra. I actually sat through the whole ordeal when my husband was being worked done and yes, he’s an adult, but I was there through the whole thing. The doctor talked explained everything thoroughly what he was doing step-by-step extremely calm, efficient and everything he did and this is why we made our second appointment for our daughter. We were seeing today, Thursday. July 23, 2026. I’m actually trying to get an appointment scheduled for my other son who needs work done in his mouth. I will definitely be making other appointments in the near future thank you again. I will truly recommend this facility to anyone who really needs dental work or any type of surgical appointments. Thank you again I truly truly appreciate you all hands-down.

I have very high dental anxiety, and Rachel and Dr. G were absolutely amazing. They were both so kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Their compassion and professionalism truly made a difference. I highly recommend them, especially if you experience dental anxiety!

The new hygienist Rachel is super amazing. She goes on my top 3 dental cleanings ever! The Dentist of Riverview's office is very clean and they follow good sterile procedures which is one of my biggest "look fors" in a dental office. Highly recommended.

My experience at this dental practice was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and friendly from the moment I arrived. Since I had completed my paperwork online beforehand, all I needed to provide was my insurance card. After sitting for only a couple of minutes, the dentist personally welcomed me, explained the process, and introduced a team member who completed my X-rays, panoramic images, and exams. Less than five minutes later, the dentist was back with me reviewing the results and thoroughly explaining my treatment plan. The entire visit took just over an hour, and I never felt rushed. Although no treatment was performed during this appointment, I left feeling informed, comfortable, and confident in my care. I’m looking forward to my next appointment and being treated by such a professional and caring team.

I cannot say enough great things about this dental office! Since becoming a patient, my gum health has improved tremendously, and I am so grateful for the care, guidance, and support I’ve received from the entire team. Back story: I used to go to a big corporate chain dentist so I always had to keep my guard up and only ever felt like revenue for them, not a patient. Present: I came to Dentist of Riverview for a second opinion. I should have years ago…this was my second cleaning here and I am blown away by how compassionate and transparent this office treated me. Yolanda my dental hygienist was a real advocate for my health and I’m guessing she must feel she’s just doing her job but compared to other practices I have never experienced dental care like I do at dentist or riverview. Truly remarkable. They treat you as a total person, making you realize how important your teeth are to your health. I got the impression the dentist are highly qualified and are up to date on the latest science and best practices. The front office staff are very welcoming and organized. I highly suggest going here. Also the office manager is next level being able to predict your bill and help explain cost. Never get any balances due after a visit which would always happen at the last place.
