Long Island Dental Excellence

I recently visited Long Island Dental Excellence after completing Invisalign treatment because I was interested in Philips Zoom whitening. I had undergone the same type of whitening treatment at another dental office in the past, but I was truly blown away by the level of care and the results I received at Dr. Heiss’s office. I especially appreciated that Dr. Heiss performed an exam and took X-rays beforehand to make sure I was a good candidate for the treatment. That extra level of care made me feel confident that my dental health and safety were the priority, not just the cosmetic result. Donna, the dental hygienist, performed my whitening treatment and was incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. She explained each step clearly and was extremely meticulous when applying the protective barrier gel to ensure my gums were fully covered and protected. I completed four 15-minute whitening sessions, and my smile looks even brighter than I remember after my previous treatment. The results are absolutely worth the money.I have visited other dental offices that claimed to offer Philips Zoom whitening but ultimately used less expensive equipment that did not provide the authentic Zoom experience. I am beyond impressed with the quality of care at Long Island Dental Excellence and can confidently attest that they use the genuine Philips Zoom whitening treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Heiss, Donna, and the entire team!

A lot of pulling and tugging. Also, went thru 3 drill bits. That was one stubborn tooth to extract. Fortunately, no pain during the process. Dr. Heiss and Priscilla both had an excellent bedside manner.

I can’t say how relieved I am that Dr. Heiss took over the practice at Long Island Dental Excellence. As a longtime patient, it’s always challenging to get to know a new doctor of any kind, but in this case, I am very thankful that Dr. Heiss is a warm and caring dentist. He is gentle and thorough and he is a nice person as well as a great dentist. This office is special, not a dental mill, with individual care and attention.

The entire staff at Long Island Dental Excellence is the most professional, caring, talented group of people I have ever encountered in any medical office. I used to be a fearful patient and now I go to the dentist with enthusiasm. My teeth look and feel amazing and their methods make each appointment incredibly easy. They are absolutely life changers. ❤️.

I can’t say enough good things about LI Dental Excellence. I had a dental emergency and was in excruciating pain. Other dentists either couldn’t help, didn’t have time, or told me I would have to wait weeks. When I called here, Sherri at the front desk actually listened and found a way to get me in. I originally saw Dr. Richter, and he was the reason I felt safe enough to come back. Dr. Heiss was just as knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He took the time to explain everything he was doing during the procedure so that I never felt in the dark. I also never experienced any pain. Everyone else in the office also did so much to help me feel calm when I was scared and overwhelmed. They are saints in my opinion, and I am not saying that lightly. I didn’t know if anyone was going to help. I really do not know what I would have done without them. If you want exceptional care from people who are skilled, compassionate, and genuinely care for you as a person this is the place.

I’ve been a loyal patient/customer for many years. Dr T, Dr. Rechter and the whole staff are my favorites. They are professional, knowledgeable and confident about their craft. Always personable & kind. Dr. Heiss now fits in that category also. Never thought I would ever look forward to a dentist visit…but I do. It’s always a nice experience & everyone takes good care of me. Thank you so much !
