Overall: Thorough care, but lacked detailed explanations and felt overpriced for uninsured patients. The staff were professional and dedicated, and Dr. Azadeh Ghavamnasiri provided very thorough care, which I greatly appreciated. However, there were a few areas where I felt disappointed: 1. Lack of Detailed Treatment Explanation: I wished there had been more detailed walkthroughs based on my X-rays and gum exam before jumping into treatment decisions. For instance, I would have appreciated clearer explanations regarding whether a deep cavity might require a root canal, why a crown was recommended over replacing an existing onlay, or if a minor fracture could simply be monitored rather than immediately crowned. A more patient-centered explanation without feeling rushed would have made a big difference. 2. High Costs for Uninsured Patients: As an uninsured patient, the quote came out significantly higher than expected, as full standard rates were applied. It felt like unnecessary additions were included in the total charge. While I understand pricing varies by practice, I was hoping for a more reasonable cash-pay rate or discount options that many other clinics offer for self-pay patients. This is strictly my personal experience, but while the clinical care was meticulous, I believe the practice could improve by offering better patient communication and more reasonable options for uninsured patients.

They asked me to do filling on my teeth. Before feeling, I did not have any pain. After their feeling, four of my teeth are painful and might require root canal. The longest one has kept paining for more than one and a half year. I am considering go back to China to find some good dentist. Do not come here:

UPDATE - I had the pleasure of working directly with Dr Oz at this location along with the staff who were very friendly and attentive. I am very pleased with how thorough she was with explaining my care needs and assessing my dental issues and the way my cleaning was conducted. I will be returning and would recommend this location. - I will not be returning due to how rude the receptionist is after asking a question about billing issues.

My experience at this place is always awesome! Highly recommend to anyone with dental anxiety. I drive from Ceres all the way to Santa Clara to be taken care of . Thank you again 😎

If you are looking for reliable dental work, go elsewhere. My crown from Santa Clara Family Dental fell out 4 times within 1.5 years. Each time was a major hassle, and to make matters worse, they attempted to bill me for these repairs despite the recurring failure of their work. They sent me the bill directly without going through the insurance and as a result I had to ask my insurance company to reach out to them. I eventually went to a different dental office to have it fixed and it has not come loose since then. It is clear there was a technical deficiency at this practice. While Dr. Sajid and Dr. Saghezchi are friendly people, the results simply didn't hold up.

5 Stars – Truly Exceptional Dentist! I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Sajid. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, kind, and incredibly patient. I have a lot of dental anxiety, and she handled it with such calm professionalism that I felt at ease right away. Dr. Sajid took the time to listen to every concern and adjusted exactly what I needed. She understood what I was experiencing immediately and she explained each step so clearly that I always knew what to expect. The entire visit was smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a dentist who combines expertise with genuine compassion, I can’t recommend Dr. Sajid and her team more!
