I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sofranko for many years and he has dealt with all of my dental issues throughout the years. He will be greatly missed as he retires. My dental hygienist was also very good and did a great job cleaning my teeth and worked well with Dr. Sofranko.

Never in my life have I ever had difficulty scheduling an appt. I have been a patient with Dr. Sofranko for 40+ years. I had an appt scheduled for June that was never coordinated with other Dr's schedules. I was never notified that my appt. was unavailable. I called the day before and was told I did not have an appt. Since then it's been utter chaos scheduling an appt for my husband and myself. Appt's have been cancelled without my say so. All I ever hear is I'm sorry this occured. I've been told these occurrences will be discussed with the dentists and staff. Yet the craziness continues. We do have appt's scheduled for Sept. Let's see if they really happen. On another note it's important to share that Dr. Soprano is the best dentist ever along with his wife Dee as the hygienist. I'm sad to see him retiring. He will be missed.

Do NOT trust this place with implants My experience with South Hills Dental Arts in Sewickley, PA (Dr. Crandall and staff) has been an absolute nightmare. What should have been a straightforward implant process turned into a FOUR-YEAR ordeal with unacceptable results. My implants are badly stained to the point I’m embarrassed to smile. I’ve dealt with cracked plates that left my tongue raw, and the current ones are so rough they constantly irritate my lower lip. This has been physically painful and emotionally exhausting. I’ll be honest—I missed some appointments because of how frustrated and discouraged I became. But even with that, there is no excuse for this taking four years, especially with ongoing issues that were never properly resolved. Financially, this has been devastating. I refinanced my home to pay for this, and now I’m facing taking out another loan just to redo the entire procedure from scratch. Important steps like bone grafting were never done, and I strongly feel my care was not handled properly. If you are considering implants, go somewhere reputable. My husband had full-mouth implants done elsewhere in six months and his results are perfect. Save yourself the time, money, and stress—go somewhere established in this process.

Dr. Sofranko Is an excellent dentist! He’s extremely thorough and explains treatment options very well. I am 73 years old and can honestly say that Dr. Sofranko Is the overall best dentist I have ever gone to! I’m sad that he’s retiring but extremely happy for him and his family.

I came over from Dr. Sofranko's office, and with the dental staff, my experience has been good so far. My issue is with the reception/billing. Despite having insurance on file, we received a very large bill with the statement that no insurance was on file (the breakdown on the bill showed the actual insurance.) When I called in to verify this, the person on the call at reception was unapologetic and rude. Instead of apologizing for a mistake made on their end, they carried on with a lecture, talking at me as opposed to with me. I would appreciate South Hills Dental Arts taking the time to impart some customer service skills to their reception folks to improve this situation. UPDATE: Thank you so South Hills Dental Arts for reaching back out to me - we were able to resolve the statement, and the manager let me know they would update some processes on their end to ensure billing (and answers around billing) would be taken care of. That says a lot in my book, and I appreciate it.

Funk this place. I scheduled an appointment with a 6 month wait, they call 2 days before the appt and tell me it's not only at a new location at a new time, but with a new dr that doesnt accept my insurance -- and that they knew of the changes moths ago but failed to reach out to new patients to inform them. Nothing positive or negative to say about the Drs, but there was a huge lack of forethought in the administration or whoever was involved with the migration of new patients to new drs due to an upcoming retirement.

Nice place. Everyone's friendly. Its clean. I see Dr. afranko for years now and he moved there. He does great work. Hes nice and kind and cares about his patients. I wont go to anyone else.
