South East Dental

I would recommend anyone to South East dental go check them out.All the staff are professional my experience was like a 10 out of 10 the Dr she is one of a kind love her. She takes her time to explain everything to me clearly that I can understand if you need a good dentist South East dental is the one.

Staff is so friendly. I had an embarrassing moment with my front tooth and south east dental helped tremendously! Excellent customer service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Their work was great btw. Had to have a new flipper made. I am so thankful for their kindness and compassion. I will be back for fillings & cleaning soon. I will definitely recommend their services to friends and family. Thank you so much Staff!🫶🏻

Should be able to give a NO STAR review !I started going to this place back in 2020 and the Dentist then was Dr. Diaz. She was absolutely phenomenal ! There was nothing she couldn't do, everything from fillings to root canals and crowns and even extractions. Since she left this place years ago it has gone downhill with incompetence from the front office all the way to staff who apparently can't do much. I had some decay on a tooth that was under a crown from 10 years ago. They sent me to another dentist in PSL to cut the crown off and evaluate the tooth. Then they sent me to a 3rd dentist to extract the tooth. Last straw today was I had a simple appointment to get my teeth cleaned . They called yesterday and insisted I had to get them a copy of my new insurance card by 4:00 to keep my 8:30 appointment today. They could not apparently receive it digitally so I had to leave work to go home and get it and take it to them. The girl at the desk said she would call if there was an issue. No call and I show up today for my appointment. I see her and say I assume there was no problem with the insurance because you did not call me back. With that dear in the headlights look on her face she stutters no, everything is fine. I go back with dentist who asks me wait a minute there is no insurance confirmation. He comes back with this list of fees and says the front office did not verify the insurance so he does not know what they will pay for but expects me to pay the bill while they figure it out. TOTAL LIES AND INCOMPETANCE FROM START TO FINISH. NEVER AGAIN, RUN FROM HERE !!!

My wife had an issue with a temporary crown falling out. I called and they understood our emergency. We were able to come in to have it taken care of. The young lady who took our information at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. The assistant that took an X-ray was also very nice and very knowledgeable. Dr. Steyn put the crown back after cleaning and prepping the area. She also explained all she had done and sent info back to our NY dentist. This will now be our only Florida dentist. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT USE THIS DENTAL OFFICE. They are a rip-off. I went in for an emergency in November 2025. The girl who put on my temporary crown left gaps; the tech never double-checked the installation of my temporary crown. I called a couple of weeks later explain my pain; no one ever returned my call. Jan 21, 2026, I received a statement for $730.68. Apparently, this billing is for the 2nd half. Blaming me for not letting them know, i had my crowned fixed by someone else. How could I when they don’t return calls? This office is not customer-friendly, arrogant, and the customer is wrong. Good luck getting a return call; they say they will, but they don't. Now there is a corporate "boss" (no name) who travels and is too busy. Sara - the alleged new manager told me I am being held accountable for this bill.

Came in as an emergency and they got me in within a reasonable amount of time, which was great. The office was clean and welcoming. The Dr. Jensen and staff were genuinely friendly and made the whole situation way less stressful by explaining everything in detail so I can understand. The treatment coordinator was amazing and patient. I originally came just for an emergency, but I’m staying on as a new patient for myself and my family.
