Dr Jackson and his staff were highly professional and were easy to talk to throughout the examination and visit. From the front office staff to the dental hygienist and dental assistant. Also, the advanced technology used for their services impressed me quite a bit. I left the office feeling that much more informed about my dental health!
Always love coming to Jackson Dental! Amazing office staff, especially Ashley at the front desk, and very comfortable every single time. Having needed a lot of work done that I put off for way too long, I'm very glad to have found this office. I always leave pain free! Big shout out to Dr. Sreis who's now done one of my root canals and two crowns. Lety was awesome and super comforting assisting during this most recent visit. If I could give more stars I would!
I chose Jackson Dental because of their strong reviews and initially had confidence in the office and Dr. Fortier. I came in specifically to replace two crowns because the shade of my older crowns no longer matched my natural teeth after whitening over time. I was assured a proper shade match could be achieved. Unfortunately, when the new crowns were placed, they appeared noticeably too white compared to my surrounding teeth. I voiced concerns immediately, and it was obvious I wasn’t satisfied even after the in-office adjustments the doctor made. Dr. Fortier encouraged me to “give it two weeks” and said if I still wasn’t satisfied, they would work with me to fix it. Based on those conversations, I believed adjustments could be made if needed and moved forward with cementing them. After trying to make it work including spending over $400 on professional whitening and additional whitening products to try to match my natural teeth to the crowns I remained unhappy with the result. My biggest concern is this: At no point during the planning, shade matching, or crown fabrication process was I told there were different crown material options that might affect esthetics, nor was I told that if the result was unsatisfactory, correcting it later could involve an additional $500–$1,000. That was never part of the conversation. I was simply given confidence that they “had it,” and the crowns were made. Only after I expressed dissatisfaction did I hear about alternate materials, lighting issues during shade matching, and significant remake costs! That is what felt unacceptable. Information that important should be discussed before treatment is finalized, not introduced only after a patient is unhappy and being asked to pay a substantial sum again. If material choices could have impacted the result, that should have been presented upfront so I could make an informed decision. Shifting that burden to the patient afterward did not feel fair or professional. What frustrated me most was not just the aesthetic result, but the lack of transparency and follow-through. To be fair, someone from the front desk did call me back and offered whitening, but I had already spent over $400 doing that, so that did not address the actual concern. I was told they would do more digging and get back to me. I later followed up again myself, left a voicemail requesting to speak with someone because I was unhappy with the visit, and weeks later I have still not heard back from management or anyone in charge. That made me feel dismissed. I’m not questioning anyone’s intentions, but as a patient spending significant money on cosmetic dental work, I expected informed discussion of options, transparency about potential costs, and meaningful support when concerns were raised. I hope this feedback helps improve the patient experience going forward.
I had an excellent experience at Jackson Dental located right in the heart of downtown Tampa. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. The office is clean, modern, and well-organized, which immediately gave me confidence in their level of care. The dental team took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and take pride in their work. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and the overall customer service—it didn’t feel rushed or impersonal like some other places. Whether you’re going in for a routine cleaning or something more in-depth, you’re in great hands here. If you’re looking for a reliable and professional dental office in Tampa, I highly recommend Jackson Dental!
