Had a root canal and crown today. All went great! Endodontist and Dentist plus the Dental Assistants were all nice, efficient and genuinely seemed to care! My husband and I are very pleased with the care and dental services.
Luckily, I remembered that my annual xrays were due. They didn't have me scheduled for that, but they did them since they were due. They gave me four antibiotics before my cleaning because of recent knee surgery. They didn't note what I was given on my after-visit summary. I had to call to find out what they were to add it to my medical records. I know that the after-visit summary is just a standard form they use for the patients because some things they said they checked didn't happen, such as TMJ and head and neck joint checks. The staff is very friendly, however.
Dr. Ngoc is wonderful! He is so good at explaining the problem, and gave me options to move forward. I let him know money is an issue, and he was understanding and very kind which means a lot to me! He offered an option that would save the tooth and be affordable. The procedure was not painful at all and my constant migraine from dental pain is already gone! I’m so grateful to this team and Dr. Ngoc for his hard work. His dental assistant was also so kind and she helped make the appointment fun!!
Went to this office in January for pain in one of my teeth. Dentist told me she did not see any issue with it, and that there may have been debris that was stuck in the gum. Scheduled an appointment with a different dentist at the same location for a routine cleaning. I was told I have a multiple cavities, and was needing a crown. They refused to do a normal routine cleaning and told me that they could only do a deep cleaning (insurance does not cover). They wanted to charge me for thousands of dollars worth of treatments. I felt off about the whole experience as previous dentists have told me my teeth are fine and do routine cleanings. I declined and went to a different dental office. The different dental office told me I was no where near needing a deep cleaning, and that I had 1 cavity. Highly DO NOT recommend, it felt like they were trying to do the most to bill insurance and get money.
Got a crown put in a little over 5 years ago when I went in for wisdom teeth pain. They left it cemented to the neighboring tooth and told me to floss it out at home. I paid for whatever the best/most expensive option was at the time and was told it should last a long time (15+ years). It just fell out today. They wanted me to wait weeks in pain so I ended up going elsewhere for my wisdom teeth.
I went to this dentist last summer, so I will preface that maybe things have changed, however, my experience was awful. I came on time and they had me wait maybe an hour- which was annoying. Then someone took X-rays of my teeth which I later showed to other dentists who confirmed that they were terrible quality and blurry. The dentist came in and told me that my teeth were in horrible condition and that I had 14 cavities. They tried to charge me $2500 (after insurance), and said that if I didn’t get them filled today, right now, I’d need root canals soon. I wasn’t in a financial position to pay, so I chose to wait. I emailed the x-rays to another dentist and he said that while I may have a few cavities, it was nowhere near 14. I then went in person to a different dentist, and he confirmed that I had seven, which is still bad, but much better than 14. Overall, I just would say that dentists of Woodbury is very credible or professional from my experiences, and I would suggest looking into going to a family-owned sensitive instead of a chain.
Great team there I had a dental emergency and never had been to this facility before. They were very kind and answered all my questions. I have really bad anxieties and they were very patient with me during the treatment and answered every question I had during the procedures that were done to help alleviate my fears. Wonderful location and staff! A+++ from me!
The best overall dentistry practice I’ve ever used. Dr. Waite is by far the most knowledgeable, and talented dentist that I’ve ever visited. My family members all agree Dentists of Woodbury is a great place for all of your dental needs.
My first few visits were 5 star and then I had a visit on Wednesday...it went okay until it was over. They ended with a floride treatment. That was fine. When they took the bib off me, they had floride on my shirt...maybe it will was out and not ruin my shirt. Worst of all, they got it in my hair. Said it would wash out. I ended up cutting my hair to get it out!!! Now, I have a section of hair that is to short for my ponytails for work!!! I also ended up with a sore under my tongue. I had gas so I didn't really notice it until later. Seems a little better today. For all I paid for these special cleanings, I feel I didn't get a fair shake. Hope they do better on my extractions.
