I had an amazing experience at this dental office. Dr. Kaythi and her assistant Alex were both extremely professional, kind, and helpful throughout my visit. I usually feel anxious before teeth cleanings, but they made me feel very comfortable and took the time to explain everything about my teeth in a way I could understand. The office also has very modern, high-tech equipment, which made the whole experience feel smooth and reassuring. From the front desk, to the X-rays, to the actual cleaning, the service was excellent from start to finish. If you’re looking to switch dental offices or this is your first time going to the dentist in a while, I highly recommend this place. I left feeling confident, informed, and well taken care of.

I went into Alhambra Modern Dentistry with severe pain and anxiety ( due to the fact that it's been several years since my last dental appointment as well as fear of needles ) And I was pleasantly surprised with how well they handled me and I'm happy to report my dental phobia is now gone! Taylor took my x-rays and was so incredibly patient and kind with me, she made me feel welcomed and safe in her care, she also informed me and how to process was going to work and made sure I was comfortable the entire time, she is a keeper! Dr.self took over and did my cleaning and filling and was so gentle the entire time that i genuinely could have fallen asleep ! They're both so easy to talk to and so good at their job :) I will be back !!

Dr. Jacqueline Ly was amazing. After not seeing a dentist for nearly 10 years, I finally decided to make an appointment here mostly because it was convenient. I’m so glad I did. The office is clean, the equipment seems modern and up-to-date, and the quality of care was excellent from start to finish. I ended up having all four of my wisdom teeth removed here, and Dr. Ly was incredible throughout the entire process. I was nervous, in pain, and honestly freaking out at times, but she took the time to see me multiple times after the procedure to check on my healing and make sure everything was progressing well. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine concern made a huge difference. I’ve never been a fan of doctors or dentists, but this experience completely changed my perspective. The staff was also great about communication, confirming appointments, and answering questions along the way. Was it expensive? Sure. Am I a little in debt now? Also sure. But honestly, it was worth every penny. I highly recommend Dr. Ly and her team.

Despite the traumatic experiences with other dentist, this one has really been a game changer. I’ve had care from both Dr. Ly and Dr. Self and they have made me feel safe and comfortable in all my visits. I also want to give a shout out to Leslie and Joseph who also work there. They’re compassionate and hardworking! Great place to do dental work.

My dentist Jacqueline Ly is very understanding, professional, and truly cares about her patients. I’ve been to a lot of dentists and have always felt pressured to do dental work that had cheaper alternatives, but it felt like those dentists wanted to get all they could from my insurance and wallet. I have missing teeth and other dentists have pushed for implants, which are very costly. When I requested dentures, I always felt push back and was left with only a “think about it” and an outrageous price for implants. But Jacqueline actually listened and, without any push back, said yes and worked with me to find a solution that made sense for my situation and my budget. She never made me feel judged or like I was asking for too much. She just wanted to help. She is also an incredible listener, one of the best I’ve encountered in any medical setting. She doesn’t just treat you like a patient; she treats you like a friend. You can tell she’s genuinely interested in what you have to say and never makes you feel rushed or dismissed. Walking out of her office feels different than any other dentist I’ve been to, because you actually feel like someone heard you. If you’ve ever left a dentist office feeling unheard or taken advantage of, I know exactly how that feels and I promise you, Jacqueline Ly is different. She restored more than just my smile, she restored my confidence in actually going to the dentist.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I had an incredible experience going here. I was helped out by Brittany and Joseph. I recommend Ms. Self, she is an amazing dentist to have on my first visit. She is very thorough and helpful throughout my appointment. She always checked in with me, either if I had any questions or any concerns with my treatment. Joseph was also so kind and also a lovely person to talk to throughout my appointment, he helped me relax and keep calm all through my appointment. The other staff there was also very helpful, they helped with financing my dental treatment and gave me time to sort myself out. I would highly recommend coming here, I know I will continue coming back for my check ups with them.
