This is the best dental practice I've been to. Long story follows: Initially I came in with severe pain on the upper right but could not tell which tooth it came from. Dr Shaw found a pretty big fracture and we decided to crown that tooth. After going home and the numbing wore off the pain was back, so he referred me to a root canal on another nearby tooth, which fixed the initial pain but now I had issues with the crown we placed on the fractured tooth as the fracture went too deep, so today I've had it pulled. They didn't charge me for the pulling and moved the payment I had already put on the first crowned tooth over to the pending crown on the root canal tooth. I absolutely do not hold it against them that the tooth was too damaged for the crown to work and did not expect them to reuse the same payment, they really care about their patients and I cannot recommend them enough.

I highly recommend Dental Group of Amarillo. The in-office scheduling staff is very respectful, kind, and efficient. Also, my first cleaning was a very positive experience. I decided to do Invisalign and it’s been an efficient experience so far—I feel super comfortable asking question and receive very clear answers. I only have two suggestions for improvements. Whenever I get connected to the answering service to forward my rescheduling request to the office, the people are very nice but I never get a call back so I’m not sure what’s going on there. Also, I have to fill out online check-in forms with the same information before every visit. If there was a way to just store the information and only update it if needed would save a lot of time.

This was my first visit to the Amarillo Dental Group. Everyone was very friendly. My dental hygienist was efficient and explained everything to me. Dr. King also was friendly and told me in detail what services I needed. I did have to wait a bit to check out but my bill was thoroughly explained as to what insurance covered and what I would need to pay. It was easy to get my next appointment on the day and time I wanted. All in all a well run professional dental office.

Dr Shaw and his assistant Elizabeth are phenomenal. They made sure I was comfortable and pain free. No waiting or down time. They are my new go to team…. I highly recommend them and the entire Office Staff. I usually interact with Brittany when calling the Office. She is always very helpful and takes care of all my needs. Go team…you all get A*’s from this girl.

This place is truly Amazing and I had an Outstanding experience here on 12.6.2024. Very rarely do you find a dental office that confirms they accept your insurance and offers you an appointment within 2 hours of that inquiry. Doctor Shaw introduced himself and was Fantastic in doing a preliminary inspection of my teeth. Ashton, the hygienist was Awesome in cleaning my teeth and making me feel comfortable during my visit. She was very patient with me, had a sweet personality, and was appreciative of my humor while getting my teeth cleaned. Kudos to Ashton and BRAVO to the office staff. Highly recommend this location to anyone needing dental work. ... Love the Tooth Christmas Ornaments....
