These guys squeezed me in for an emergency root canal. I had been in pain for days prior, and was losing sleep. I was able to establish care, get a checkup, and have a root canal + crown procedure all in the same day. It was basically two appointments in one. They are very conscious of pain and comfort levels. While there is no such thing as a fun root canal, they made mine as comfortable as possible. I could have fallen asleep in the chair a couple of times, even while they were drilling my roots.
Posting this review for a family member. I have not been to this office. Doc did not introduce himself, said his associate would take over. Assoc did not mention the X-rays and did not do the check for oral cancer. He was in & out. Felt like a number. Hygienist was too gentle & apologized for being disorganized. Did not feel like a thorough cleaning, offered a toothbrush bag but never received it. Said would give a fluoride treatment but did not. Still not sure if he was charged for it. Not a horrible experience but was optimistic since this is a family owned small dentist. Felt rushed
I went to their new facility in Amherst just down te street from their old office, and I must say I was very impressed. This is a state of rhe art facility very fresh and very welcoming and what looks to be lots of very modern equipment. Their service has always been great and I would highly recommend them. But what has motivated me to write this review is that its nice to see business putting money back in to their community and practice to provide a better experience and comfort level to their customers, patients in this case. Thank you Amherst!
I had a great experience at Amherst Family Dental! Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy, and I was able to be seen sooner than I expected. Alexa was outstanding—she took the time to clearly explain my insurance coverage and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the process. It made everything so much easier to understand. Dr. Booth was very thorough during my exam and made me feel completely at ease. He took the time to explain everything and answered all of my questions, which I really appreciated. I’m very happy I chose Amherst Family Dental for my dental care and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, welcoming dental office!
My first visit to Amherst Family Dentistry was an emergency. As someone relatively new to the area, I was unhappy with my current dentist's front office and decided to explore other options. Amherst Family Dentistry was my third inquiry, and I was impressed by Nicki, who answered my call. I provided her with all my insurance information, and she informed me that they were slightly understaffed that day, but assured me she would call back by the end of the business day, which she did. My appointment with Dr. Booth and his assistant, Sarah, was one of the best dental visits I have ever experienced (and I’ve had many). The atmosphere was both professional and entertaining. Although I was initially anxious about the severity of my situation, Dr. Booth's cheerful and calming demeanor put me at ease. They treated me like a long-time friend. Additionally, I want to mention that their office is brand new and beautifully designed. I now have a dental practice I can trust and am thrilled that they are accepting new patients.
