Huge shoutout to the entire team here, from the receptionist, to the dental assistant, to the doctor. I was experiencing severe pain around my back wisdom tooth. My gum and left side of my mouth were very swollen. I had gone to my previous primary care dentist the day before addressing the severe pain and they sent me home with no antibiotics and no solution to fix the swelling and address the pain. I woke up the next morning in even worse pain. I decided to seek a second opinion because the pain was unbearable and called Buda Dental Professionals, and they did not disappoint. I did not have an appointment, but they made time to get me in to help address my pain. Shoutout to the incredibly kind and helpful receptionist! The dental assistant who took care of me was an absolute angel and was very gentle when getting X-rays and images of my very swollen and sensitive jaw. The doctor was a godsend, she didn’t ignore my pain like my primary care dentist did the day before and she provided tangible solutions to get rid of the infection and manage the pain. I will be transitioning over to Buda Dental Professionals from my old dentist. They are top tier and provided top tier service. I seriously appreciate the whole team!! 🙏🏻

Over the years I’ve seen different dentists, but I’ve never felt more at ease or trusting than I do here at BDP. They clearly strive for excellence, and they absolutely achieve it—it’s simply ingrained in their office culture. My case was and still is very complex, yet Dr. Strickland goes above and beyond to maintain a reputation that easily exceeds any dental practice I’ve ever seen. I’m so grateful I walked through those doors and was treated with the utmost kindness and compassion. Her staff follows her lead; they are all incredibly helpful and genuine, just as she is. I have been a patient here for many years. I just wanted to share how wonderful the WHOLE staff is. From the receptionist, to the dental hygienist, to the dentist themselves. Every time I have called, it has been friendly and pleasant. Key note: In my lifetime, I have had bouts with trigeminal neuralgia which causes severe facial pain, especially when dental work is done. But this group has Always taking exceptional care of me. They have never faltered in their compassion or genuine kindness to me and making sure I am aware of what's happening and pain free. If you need a place to feel safe and get your teeth cleaned or taken care of, I would highly recommend this whole team! And Gayle, thank you for always being so kind and genuine. When my south Austin dentist for decades retired, friends recommended Buda Dental Professionals. I am extremely pleased with my first care experience at BDP. The office environment is exceptionally calming and comfortable. All staff members - Stephanie and Silina at the front desk, my hygienist Monica and my dentist Dr Schaefer - are very affable, professionally talented and patient-focused. BDP is oral healthcare at its finest (5 stars and A+).
