Unfortunately, I have to leave a pretty bad review because of my experience. My experience has little to do with the dentist, who is great, but the receptionist staff. I have something really specific that I need done, and I love in a rural area so there’s no one that does it and accepts my insurance. I found this place. I called, explained my situation in great detail and even asked for the receptionist to repeat it back to me (I’m a teacher, so it was a content check). I reminded them many times that I was coming from two hours out of town. And that they needed to make sure the service I needed had a history of being done here, otherwise, I wouldn’t go. I offered multiple times for her to say, “it’s best you don’t come here, as we don’t likely think we can help you” but no, she assured me. Long story short, the receptionist lied. The dentist took one look at my x ray and situation and was immediately like, “I can’t help you.” I’m so frustrated because I had to call off work to travel 2 hours here, which is inconvenient as heck for a professional such as myself. I’m big on being intentional and methodical with everything I do, but I was the only one think about that. Very disappointing experience. I also had my appointment at 1:30 but wasn’t seen until 2:10, which I also did not like. Overall, poor experience solely because of the receptionist lying just to get me in as a patient: 2/5.

The doctor was attentive and diligent, taking the time to thoroughly explain my options and procedures so I understood everything completely. They truly prioritize making the visit pain and anxiety-free. If you're looking for a dentist that offers high-quality, gentle dental care in a welcoming, professional, and comforting setting in the Chicago Heights area, Sonrisa Family Dental is absolutely the place to go. I highly recommend them!

Me and my kids have been coming here for over a year now and I can truly say I’m satisfied with the service we’re receiving. We don’t have to wait months for appointments and the time spent in the office is at minimal. As a busy mother, my time is valuable and I’m grateful that they understand that. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the actual doctor, is fun and outgoing. He relieves my anxiety every time. Thanks Sonrisa for being our chosen dentist provider.

This place is very great, I have been coming here for years. No complaints and they will get you in and out. Today Diana helped me and was very welcoming. I love to see young ladies working hard.
