Around The Mountain Pediatric Dentistry

We’ve been coming here for years and have had nothing but great experiences every time. Shout out to Dr. Crystal for the most recent trip, but we’ve seen all of the doctors and they’re all fantastic. The hygiene and dental assistants are so great with my kids and always take the time to make sure are comfortable with what’s happening.

Absolutely the best place we’ve ever taken our kids! Dr. Kirk , Dr. Crystal, the staff exc are beyond amazing! From the time you check in to the time you leave it is absolutely a smooth and comfortable experience!!! Our kids have been to another dentists when insurance changed but we have never been happier to be back here our kids feel so comfortable and at ease with everyone! They have worked so hard to make everything and everyone feel right at home!

I took my two year old here and arrived on time. It took over an hour, about 65 minutes, to see the dentist, Crystal. We arrived before 4pm (appointment time), finally saw the dentist at about 5:05. They were running behind apparently and kept apologizing. This isn't at all a big deal by itself. I understand things happen. They eventually saw us, gave me absolutely no time to get my toddler comfortable when I only needed 30 seconds to get him comfortable with this new person who just walked through the door and ready so he could have a decent experience. They immediately told me to hold him down. He absolutely freaked out. Told me to keep restraining him. The entire treatment lasted just a couple minutes and made him incredibly unhappy which is not typical for his dental visits. It was so painfully obvious she just wanted to finish up her day regardless of how it made my child feel. I don't know what the heck they were smoking that day but it was entirely unprofessional to make us wait over an hour and not allow me just 30 seconds to ensure my child is comfortable and has a good experience at the dentist, which is SO important for young kids so they build these positive associations. Running behind on your work does not entitle you to treat a child that way. My previous visits were great. Even last time when my kid wasn't in a great mood Mike (I think) was super great, caring, and respectful.

2 and 3 year old have gone for 2-3 cleaning and exams so far, every 6 months. We are moving and will miss them. They are really fantastic with children and communication to parents. Glad my kids think of the dentist as a good experience.

We’ve been going to this dentist for years, 2021 to be exact. Over the years they’ve been unbearable to work with. I travel for these appointments over 50 miles to be treated like crap by the front desk. Between my kids and my nephew we’ve had multiple bad experiences. From them canceling our appointments because they say they didn’t receive our “confirmed” text when I had proof of it. Then when my daughter has a fever gets mad that we can’t make her appointment yet she will be turned away if we show up with a fever. My nephew also had an abscess and it took us calling and it getting worse to get anywhere. Not sure where the management has changed but they could really use some customer service trainings.
