I am a new patient, the staff was very friendly from the time I checked in, to the time I left. , The paper work was easy to get through. They were very understanding and communicative on what I needed done. They gave a step by step process as to what they were going to be doing during the next procedure. .

Staff was super friendly and made me feel comfortable my whole visit. Office is super clean and it looks well put together inside building. Would highly recommend this office.

As always, I received superb care for my routine cleaning and dental examination. Emma was very thorough, professional and engaging. Dr. Rorick took the time necessary for a thorough examination.

For Hannah, I recommend her if you need a gentle cleaning or visit she did great plus it felt like she was very soft and gentle compared to others, her job was more pleasant and enjoyable yet great results from her job well done: and scheduling team!! The dentist we have been seeing is great, I appreciate the service provided by the dentist and their dental hygienist. What earned this rating is their billing practices. I understand that insurance is responsible in part for this complaint but the office also needs to hold some accountability. Out of three estimates we received over a year not a single one was even in the ballpark of what our obligation to pay was estimated. On two occasions we were billed for something that we were told by someone in the room with us is covered by our insurance. Then we received a surprise bill in the mail all three times. If I ever go back I'm going to bring my magic eight ball because it will give me a better idea on what I'd owe than their quotes.

I had a great visit today getting my permanent crown placed. I was with Deondra(spelling?) And another hygienist i didnt catch her name but I've had previously and did a great job. It appeared Deondra was getting possibly trained. However, did a great job! I have a very petite mouth and she was working with my very back tooth. It was honestly probably one of my easiest experiences getting the xray! Typically, its very uncomfortable. Dr Stump is always great to be around and trys to make you feel comfortable. He makes the experience less stressful and does not make you feel judged. My only complaint is on me coming with 2 broken ribs and them being so enjoyable the pain from giggles!

02/11/2026: Update from recent visit Dear Sycamore Hills Dentistry Team, I am writing to share feedback regarding our experiences at your practice. Since May 2025, we have visited nine times, and our experience with your staff has been wonderful. The dentists and assistants are professional, efficient, and exceptionally patient. However, I would like to bring an ongoing accessibility issue to your attention. Navigating the front entrance is difficult as there is no automated handicap access. Furthermore, the foyer is quite small, making it challenging for a wheelchair user and a caregiver to navigate the space if others are standing at the reception counter. Additionally, during our most recent visit, the patient room was not large enough to accommodate the dentist, the assistant, the patient, the caregiver, and the wheelchair. As a result, the wheelchair had to be left in the hallway. Since your facility has various room sizes, I suggest that a note be added to the files of patients with mobility aids. This would allow your team to predetermine and schedule larger rooms for future appointments to better accommodate space requirements. We truly appreciate the excellent care you provide to my mother, and we hope these suggestions help improve accessibility for all patients. From the front of the business is a quaint dental office squished between two of the more aggressive agents antagonizing good tooth health...Dunkin' donuts and Pizza Hut. My mother needed three teeth removed, refitted for dentures, and two fillings. For the last year my mother had two infected teeth leftover from prior dentists, who had passed away just before these teeth were to be addressed. For over a year she was unable to locate a dentist in the Fort Wayne area that performed all the services from cleaning, extractions, dentures, and oral surgeries... until Sycamore Hills Dentistry. Not only were all the services, dentures, and surgeries available here...but they're one the best staffed dentistry in the area. With a surprisingly amazing amount of space they perform all this with a great deal of focus towards the comfort of their patients. With so much ground to cover...so many services...and surgeries, their communication platform seems to be one of their clinic's essential strengths. Using digital radio between staff, dental assistants, and dentists it seems to be leveraged to maximize the patient's experience while at their clinic. My mother expected 2 hours at the dentist and was in and out in a little over 45 minutes. Thank you, Dr. Rorick and your staff, for taking good care of my mother with all of her oral surgeries.

Due to my Insurance changing this year I needed to find a new Dentist. Thankfully Sycamore was taking new patients and my insurance. A very thorough exam. Super friendly staff and a good first visit Dentist meet. *****
