Dr. Singh and his team were nothing short of amazing. I’ve had bad experiences at the past with dentists and these guys took all those scary thoughts away. I had an emergency tooth. I needed extracted and they did a wonderful job.
Unfortunately, my recent experience at Sunrise Dental of Issaquah was very disappointing, especially since I had a decent experience with them 6-11 years ago. I waited for over an hour past my appointment time and was never seen by the dentist. Instead, the first person I interacted with clinically appeared to be a dental assistant, who informed me that I needed a CT scan before I had ever spoken with or been examined by the dentist. As a nurse practitioner, I understand the importance of team-based care and efficient workflows. However, I also believe patients should have the opportunity to meet with the treating provider, receive an examination, and have the rationale for additional testing explained directly before being told they need further imaging. After waiting more than an hour without ever seeing the dentist, I chose to leave. The office later explained that the dentist had reviewed my X-rays and that the assistant was communicating the dentist’s recommendation. While I appreciate the clarification and their response to my concerns, it does not change the fact that my experience as a patient was that I waited an excessive amount of time and never had the opportunity to speak with the dentist. I hope they take this feedback into consideration and improve both their communication and patient experience.
I called to get scheduled for a consultation and the person answering the phone seemed like they were bothered, but I chalked it up to someone having a bad start to their day. I was happy they were able to get me in the next day! Fast forward to the next day and the same person called and said something about the provider she scheduled me with being unavailable and she would need to reschedule me for a different day (note for self: you must acknowledge the red flags when they appear!) I told her I had already taken time off work for the appt. She put me on hold and asked if I could come in at 5 and I said yes. She was still annoyed at life. I got there and immediately they wanted to take xrays. I asked her how much the xrays were because I just had some taken (which I could've emailed to them) and she said they were "complimentary". That was a bold lie. I could go on forever with the blood-colored red flags, but I'm already tired of typing my novel. There's sooo much more to the story. In my opinion they take way more xrays than needed, because regardless of whether you decide to have your procedure with them it feels to me it's all about the money. I sensed that as the Dr. was attempting to get me to start the implant procedure that night, at 6 pm. As soon as I said no he was outta there a minute later...no kidding. I dodged a bullet when I chose not to have my procedure done here. Throughout the process it felt like a low-key money grab: "oh, look how much we're discounting this for you". "Let's get started right now". "Let us refer you to straighten out this one misaligned tooth you've had for 50 years". Oh, btw, here's our bill for the "complimentary" xrays. Just...no.... **FOLLOW UP** This review is not even an hour old, and I get a call from the "office manager" who was "concerned" about my review, but apparently not concerned about my experience at his office. His sole purpose was to argue and defend, not listen. Only further served to validate my view and review of this place. I was willing to listen until he began the debate, which only ended when I hung up on him. Yelp and research before you go.
Sunrise Dental of Issaquah was able to complete emergency root canal 4 hours after initial contact on a Sunday morning. I arrived at 9am in excruciating pain and left at 12 nearly pain free. I was particularly impressed with the pricing transparency. My options were thoroughly reviewed with cost including insurance reimbursement provided in writing. The office is highly professional.
This place is a scam don’t go here. They will say whatever it takes to get you in the door and not actually help you and then expect you to pay a ton of money! I went in for wisdom pain and these were the pictures they took you can’t even see my wisdom teeth but want to charge for x-rays
Good morning I would like to give a huge thank you to Sunrise Dental in Issaquah Truly Changed My Life! I want to take a moment to celebrate Sunrise Dental in Issaquah, because they have gone above and beyond for me in ways I’ll never forget. I had a really bad experience with a dentist here in Moses Lake. Two of my root canals from that office failed, and I ended up with a cracked tooth on top of that — three teeth total. My face was swollen, and for months my body had been fighting infections I thought were sinus issues. Even my doctor couldn’t figure out what was going on, and he reminded me he’s not a dentist. It wasn’t until that tooth cracked that we finally discovered the real problem.the failed root canals were making me sick ! Round and rounds of antibiotics.when I went to my dentist here in Moses they downplayed didn’t want to do anything unless I paid them 5k in 2 payments as they didn’t accept both my insurances which I didn’t realize till afterwards. When I reached out to Sunrise Dental, they didn’t hesitate. They got me in on an emergency Sunday appointment — something most offices would never even consider. They treated me with urgency, compassion, and skill. They worked with me on everything: insurance, billing, payments, scheduling — whatever it took to get the job done professionally and with true craftsmanship. I’ve read the reviews, both positive and negative, and I get that everyone has their own experience. But I can honestly say I’ve been with Sunrise Dental for almost five years total. I loved them before moving to Moses Lake, and after dealing with 2 failed root canals and a cracked tooth and being told “it’s just 1 bad root canal which again they wanted 5k to replace with the dental implant on top of that insurance and wanted it in 2 payments in 1 month and 1st payment had to happen to even schedule appointment. I went right back to the team I trust. And wow — they proved once again why they’re worth the three‑hour drive. From the warm handshakes to the intentional care to the follow‑ups, they treat you like a person, not a number. They remember you. They advocate for you. They take pride in their work. And they make sure you leave not just treated, but cared for. Sunrise Dental has earned my loyalty for life. If you’re looking for a dental team that truly shows up for you — even on a Sunday — while your in the worst pain of your life this is the place.
