I called to make sure that this office accepted my dental insurance for my daughter. They assured me that they did. After the first visit they sent me a bill for the full price of the visit saying that the dentist did not accept insurance. I went back 6 months later to find I had been scheduled with the exact same dentist who still didn't take my insurance. I explained very clearly and firmly that I needed for my daughter to see the dentist that did accept my insurance. They scheduled me for an appointment today. I arrived to an appointment with the same dentist. Seeing the note in my file they tried to find a solution and explained that there is actually no dentist in their practice who can treat a patient my daughter's age who accepts my insurance. And we're just talking a very basic cleaning. Nothing special.

They were an administrative mess. I took what I thought were the necessary steps when making my appointment to verify my coverage with them and provide my MCO #. I was told that they could schedule me for a provider on-staff that was in network for my coverage. I was provided a relatively quick appointment turn-around time and I was thankful for that. I had to reschedule and was provided another quick appointment slot, more gratitude from me. However, I am disabled, and after traveling more than 30 minutes to their office I was asked to provide my coverage data once again. Upon supply them with the information I they spent another 30 mins or so making me wait while they did the verification I expected them to perform prior to scheduling - and rescheduling - my appointment. While I have no animosity or resentment for the practice it, based on my experience both over the phone and in person, that their administrative offices may be poorly managed. What i don't appreciate is the massive waste of my time. I don't know why you would have a customer commute more than an hour to and from you offices before verifying that customer could receive services.

Dr. McLaughlin has been my dentist for 14 years. Her bedside manner is impeccable! I was not very trusting (due to previous dentist) and she taught me each tooth’s number and the teeth that we needed to watch. Her demeanor is calm and she is reassuring even when the news delivered is not what I want to hear. She is absolutely amazing and I am grateful. Dr. McLaughlin’s assistant Tigist is very professional and knowledgeable. She makes the best temporary crowns ever! They are a power team that always follows through. Last, but not least Terell, the Office manager runs a tight ship and makes sure the office runs smoothly. He resolves matters so that everyone is respected and taken care of. Thank you for all you do!

First time appointment with my husband. Our insurance changed. Only the 6th dentist I have ever seen in my 74 years. Had multiple xrays and Dr Goorah checked my teeth and said I had 5 or 6 cracked teeth and tartar causing bone loss behind my lower front teeth. Wanted to take color pictures ($100, not covered by insurance) and send me to a specialist (also not covered) who happens to share an office with them for extensive cleaning with anesthesia. I have seen a dentist every six months for my lifetime! Never has anyone suggested this. I actually have been complimented on having good teeth for my age. I spoke to my husband in his exam room and the assistant said after looking at his xrays the doctor would be recommending the same thing for him. By her nonverbal clues I realized we were being railroaded into treatment and expense that was not unusual for the practice. The front desk was very helpful and understanding and offered to email us our xrays. When I asked if they do this often, they just smiled. And they didn’t even clean our teeth which is what we made the appointment for! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE UNLIMITED FUNDS AND WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

I had an amazing experience at Aspen Hill General and Cosmetic Dentistry! From the moment I walked in, Alicia at the front desk made me feel so welcomed and at ease. Dr Goorah and her team—Tigist, Yisebila, and Yadi—were all incredible. The care was thorough, professional, and genuinely comforting. This office feels more like a group of friends than a dental visit. It’s also a one-stop shop with multiple specialists, which makes everything so convenient. Highly recommend—easily more than 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

I’ve had a challenging time overall confirming and coordinating my treatment with this office, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five. There was a lot of back-and-forth and inconsistency when dealing with different providers. That being said, I have to highlight two people who completely turned my experience around: Dr. McLaughlin and the dental assistant Tigist. They were the only two who truly took the time to assist me properly. They explained everything thoroughly, made the process seamless, and ensured all of my concerns were finally addressed. After my last appointment with them, everything I had been trying to resolve throughout my time at the office was completed. My smile is significantly better than when I started, and all of my problem areas have been corrected. I also had no issues with wait time or bedside manner during my visits with them—they were professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. While my overall experience with the office had its frustrations, Dr. McLaughlin and Tigist absolutely deserve five stars. They really made all the difference, and I’m very grateful for their care.

Dr Park, Ryan, an Oral surgeon is the best surgeon I have ever treated by! I had #17, wisdom tooth to be removed and had a wonderful pleasant experience! I’m usually very scared of dental visits however surprisingly he took care of me very well with his expertise! No pain and the job done very quickly! Love it! The facility is really clean and equipped with high tech machines, x-ray is taken without any touch of my mouth which surprised me a lot! The rooms are wide and chairs are very comfortable! The staff are very kind and I’d love to visit this place again if any dental issues I should have in the future! Thank you everyone working there and may God Bless you all the ways in your life! 🙏
