My husband has been a patient at Pacific NW Dental Center for over two years, so I decided to go there for a cleaning. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The front desk staff and dental assistant were friendly, but the actual cleaning lasted no more than 10 minutes. It felt rushed, with the hygienist quickly going around my teeth without much care. During the cleaning, my gums were injured in several places, and one area was cut so badly that I could barely brush that tooth for almost two weeks because of the pain. What bothered me even more happened afterward. I casually mentioned that I had been experiencing some jaw joint pain and that I had already seen an endodontist, who recommended a simple $10 night guard from Amazon and said there wasn’t much difference between inexpensive and custom options. As soon as Dr. Philip Kim heard that, the conversation completely changed. Although he hadn’t mentioned any concern about a night guard during my exam, he spent the next 20 minutes strongly trying to convince me that I needed their custom night guard and warned me that my health was at risk if I didn’t get it. After that, the financial coordinator spent another 20 minutes trying to get me to order it. Instead of feeling like my concerns were the priority, I left feeling like I had become the target of a sales pitch. Between the rushed cleaning that injured my gums and the pressure to purchase an expensive night guard, I cannot recommend this clinic.

I came to Pacific NW Dental Center after having a root canal retreatment completed by an endodontist. The specialist sent a report to the office explaining that I needed a permanent filling within three weeks. I called the same day, but the office refused to schedule me until the doctor reviewed the report. For the next two weeks I called multiple times. Each time I was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. Eventually I was finally scheduled with Dr. Kwansoo Lee. When I arrived for my 10AM appointment, I waited about 25 minutes before the doctor came in. He told me I didn’t need anesthesia and immediately started drilling out the temporary filling. The procedure felt extremely rushed and careless. The instruments repeatedly bumped into my other teeth. I even stopped him and asked him to slow down and be more careful. He said, “Okay,” but continued working just as quickly and said, “We’re almost done.” When he finished, I could immediately feel there was still a large hole in the filling and sharp edges. After I pointed it out, he added more filling material, but the hole was still there. Instead of fixing the filling properly, he ground down this tooth to make my bite feel more even and then told me, “It looks good to me. I can’t do anything more.” The entire appointment lasted less than 10 minutes. I left with a filling that still doesn’t feel right and tooth that is now shorter because it was unnecessarily ground down. I have never had dental work done so quickly or carelessly. I will be going to another dentist to have this work evaluated and corrected. Unfortunately, after this experience, my family and I will not be returning to Pacific NW Dental Center.

Before, I used to smile and try to hide my teeth. Now I feel comfortable smiling openly, and that means a lot to me. I also want to thank the entire team — from the front desk to the assistants, financial coordinators, and everyone involved. There were many people supporting this process, and every single one of them was attentive, kind, friendly, and professional. Thank you all so much. I’m very happy that I chose Dr. Lee and would definitely recommend him.

Explained very well to me what was going on with my teeth and everything that they would be doing for the appointment. Also showed me pictures of everything I needed to see and also gave me great advice on methods to maintaining healthy teeth. I had such a great experience at Pacific NW Dental Center! From the moment I walked in, the front desk team (Alesha, Kalene, Aubri, and Ava) were all so welcoming, friendly, and organized it made everything feel easy and stress free. Dr. Wang was amazing professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly without making me feel rushed. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. The assistant, Makay, was also incredible super kind, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The whole team works so well together, and the overall atmosphere is clean, calm, and positive. I love the privacy of the rooms and the simplicity and ease of the X-rays. Honestly one of the best dental experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend!

I love this place, everyone is so friendly and educated. Alesha scheduled my appointment. I was greeted by Jillian when I walked in and everyone was in such a great mood, that’s rare these days. Miguel was my assistant and was very gentle with my X-rays. Bre did my cleaning and she did such a great job! Dr. Lee did my exam woohoo I have to get my wisdom teeth out. Christy went over the financials with me and thank you Maya and Aubri for verifying my insurance!
