I’ve been a patient for decades now. My new hygienist, Kristen, was very friendly and exuded a calm demeanor. Dr Gosnell has always been very friendly and gregarious.
I have been a customer of this dental office for about 10 years. It started out as a great experience, with friendly staff and consistent dental hygienists each time you come in. A “family" feel. Fast forward, the hygienist staff constantly changes, and I have had some bad ones! Rough and resting their hands on your face as they clean. My most recent visit, I had a change in dental insurance. Maybe it was the rainy weather, but the front staff didn't look happy. The lady who escorted me to the back looked like she was having a bad day. When I checked out, I got hit with an unexpected 50+ dollar bill. I thought maybe this was an issue with preventive care differences between insurances. Instead, it was a different coverage for X-rays. Where previous insurance covered it 100%, I was not asked for consent for services that would be an additional charge. There seems to be no opt-out for services that you do not want that require extra payment. I called after I left, asking for the detailed billing and to speak with a manager. I was told she was doing an interview and would call me back. She didn't. Instead, I got a text asking me to fill out a review. So here you go AFD, the review you asked for and here I go to find another dentist. They cannot even call their customers back when there is an issue. They got my money and I am not important, until the next 6 month check up is due. What was once a great place has lost its touch and treats its customers very poorly. I can only speculate from the treatment as a customer there must be a reason for the constant turnover for their hygienists. Bye AFD, I hope you find your roots again, but it will be without me. To the "Response from owner": There is nothing "protected health" about poor customer service. I was charged for items I did not knowingly consent to. You did not advise there was a change in billing, just expected me to pay up. I asked for a return call to discuss this and you did not provide that. Instead, you asked for an online review and I complied with your request. Sorry it wasn't the review you wanted. My experience in your office was not what I expected either. Had you called me back, maybe it would be a different review. Also, your automated phone messages about recording my call and that can be used for human or AI analysis is a bit absurd when you talk about protected health information. I am not important enough of a customer for a call back, why do I need to call you again? I already tried that.
The dental hygienist, Debbie, was very friendly and professional answering my questions and explaining what she was doing. She was also very thorough in cleaning my teeth which I appreciated. Dr Turner was filling in for my usual doctor, but he was pleasant and gentle with his examination.
Dental hygienist Reagan did a great job! She clearly knows what she's doing. She was professional, thorough, and made me feel comfortable throughout the cleaning. I really appreciate the excellent care she provided.
Just had two small cavities filled by Dr. Gosnell. While a dentist isn't usually our favorite go-to place - I must say this was the best dental experience I've ever had and I've been to a lot of dentists in my 78 years. His dental assistant is terrific as well. The entire staff are thoughtful and professional. Highly recommend.
I had an amazing experience! I was nervous about getting a root canal, but it was completely painless and smooth. The staff made me feel comfortable the entire time. I’ve officially switched to this dentist and even added my husband. Highly recommend
